Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

I was lucky enough to borrow the SA Nemesis from work over the past couple weeks and man did I love it. Sadly it's time to return it. It is so easy to use with so many good sounds...and honestly I didn't even really get to dig into it too much. Time to save up some pennies. It's going to have to wait until this whole government shutdown thing blows over unfortunately. It will be mine though.

I think I've asked this question before, and I just asked it on the Instagram page, but I am curious how the pitchshifting will compare to the Digitech Drop. That is, will it be able to do polyphonic virtual drop-tuning or capo-ing while retaining something approximating a natural tone? Or is the polyphonic pitchshifting more of an effect for things like pitchshifted delays, similar to what's in the Nemesis? If the former, this has a place on my board YESTERDAY and all the synth stuff is just a bonus.

I'll tag @rsmith601 and @nnavarro I suppose...

Ditto... I have been refining my board for studio and live use for the better part of 7 years. Once this thing comes out, it’ll replace my OC-2, and every effect on my board (minus expressions and control pedals) will be SA with exception to my tuner, compressor, and Future Impact.

This is the only pedal out there that I long for, other than maybeeeee tasting a few other compressors.

They got it GOIN’ ON, fellas.

I do not think it will replace the highly polyphonic drop-tuning devices @Adamixoye . The FI? Highly likely. The Neuro library for this thing is going to be insane. This is, BAR NONE, the most flexible envelope filter ever...….and there are 2 of them......and it does so much more.

Wow. Pretty much everything you said there is me also. Except i have an mxr BOD rather that an OC2. If this can beat the FI i can downsize my board.

Man, I'd be happy with just an envelope series in the One Series format that could do what my BEF does... whenever you say something about this pedal my GAS meter hits all the red lights.
