Really like the tones that Nathan got from that small deno! iPhone users with newer phones that have no headphone jack, how are you guys running the app? Is there an adaptor you can use or something? Or just using the USB to Pc editor? Being unable to edit my pedal is kinda sucky now..

The headphone adapter works fine on both iPhone and Android. I have a Pixel 3. Alternatively, you can get a low cost Bluetooth to audio device and go wireless. We will demo this at NAMM.
So you put the Bluetooth adaptor into the aftershock cable that came with the pedal and then phone just pairs to that? Is that correct?

Should make a new t shirt for us with “source audio sorcerers society” on it.
So I just got my second Manta. Jumped to the BEF Pro, then back to it. I know the new synth will replace my OC-2 and give me back my missing clean octave up from my sold Bass Whammy that I loved so much, but my question is.... will I have to get two to replace the octave and the Manta??

I would think that a C4 plus a Hub can do everything?
If I get a chance to try one at NAMM, I’m actually most curious about Mono mode, at least in terms of feel and tracking. The two teaser demos both sounded great.

We will! Don't worry. NAMM prep and execution is kind of all-encompassing at the moment.
EDIT: I’ve figured it out! It was a careful checks and balances of making sure every calibration state was set the same. Different numbers for mins and maxes over all of the devices held me back (0-800s for the Boss, 0-1023 for SA, etc). Once those were all sorted out and matched for every device, they are all working perfectly!

I'm sending and expression signal via a passive expression pedal (Thru-Tone EXS) to my Boss ES-8. In turn, the ES-8 is sending that signal to my SA Hub, which is then sending it to my SA pedals (AS, Manta, Nemesis, Ventris). I'm trying to map the expression sweep to the mix knob on my Ventris for a patch. I've gotten the parameters set and followed all of the calibration instructions, but the sweep of the expression is different for both my Ventris and Nemesis. I've attempted to calibrate it with the min and max on the Hub Manager Software, and the Neuro App to no avail.
There is control for both, but the Ventris basically acts like an on/off switch, with 100% Dry on heel down, but when I move it just slightly toe down, it immediately goes to 100 Wet for the rest of the sweep. With the exact same settings, my Nemesis will sweep smoothly from Dry to Wet as I go heel down to toe down, for about 7/8ths of the sweep. At that point, it stays 100% Wet.
Where in the calibration chain am I missing something? Thanks so much!

Hi folks, for various reasons I’ve been away from my bass gear for awhile now and just yesterday was able to hook my rig up for the first time in at least 8 months. I had a neat biamp setup that I was using before the “hiatus”, but disconnected it to only run the Aftershock and my Octabre. When I went to engage the Aftershock the first time, the sound wouldn’t change no matter what knobs or switches I changed.
I tried hooking up the Neuro app to my iPad and couldn’t effect any changes there either. While it may only be 8 months since I used my rig, it may have been almost two years since I had really played with the Neuro ecosystem and have apparently forgotten everything I knew about how it works.
So, any idea why it’s not outputting anything other than the dry signal? Is there a way to factory reset one of these? I haven’t felt this dumb about gear since before I bought my first effect pedal.

Come say hi at NAMM and get back on the train! There is a way to do a factory reset without using the app. You can also get the Neuro Desktop and update that way. That is probably the best.
@rsmith601 - does the new filter have a sensitivity/input gain control to create a fixed point at which the filter opens? Or is it the same sensitivity feature on the Manta, where it adjusts to the players dynamics depending on how light or hard they play?
