Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

WOW.

Looks UN-REAL!

In the spirit of continually making things better...and perhaps I'm alone in this camp, but I'd much rather see this in a larger enclosure with all top jacks as opposed to the side jacks on the smaller enclosure as presented. The current format won't keep me from putting one on my board, but since this is a discussion forum, thought I'd share my opinion that no one asked for :)
This would require us to sell it for $600, and then no one would buy it, and just like the Deep Impact.....it would die. This format is the only way I know how to deliver technology like this to all of you and not kill my company in the process.

@rsmith601, is there any way you could make preview while you’re at NAMM this weekend of what the different pure waveform sounds, especially the saws, will sound like? That’s what I’ve been waiting on ever since I heard about this. It already sounds awesome! But that’s really going to be the deciding factor for me.
Still too early. We will get there. Maybe Nathan can do something when he is back in the office.

Man, that looks good. The block diagram setup kinda reminds me of the SY300. The SY had "more", but, I mean, it was a $600 pedal built by a huge company with lots of resources.
600? Maybe 600usd? The sy300 sells for close to 800-900 aus here... cheaper to buy an actual synth at that price! Waiting to see when all this is coming out and at what aus pricing... looks awesome but afraid will be out of the price range after the Australian tax hits ☹️

Imagine that, someone from Chicago using USD...

USD street price is $699. I got mine for about half of that used. It's going to be hard to let go of based on the polyphony and all the things it can do, but I've never really delved into it the way I should either. For monophonic bass the FI beats it, and hopefully the new SA pedal will do that as well. If that happens, I'll have to make some tough choices regarding how much I need those SY-300 features.

Fair. Deep Impact may not have survived, but I see a Future Impact on many boards, but agreed the size and price is prohibitive...not sure if it was previously mentioned but...what is the price point for this beautiful little box?

Shooting for $229
