probably should have asked before but... my neural hub and c4 will play nice together and store patches ?

@rsmith601 Thank you so much any way. I guess while I wait for release day I'll get creative with the Aftershock and see what else I can get it to do.
I believe Roger mentioned on TGP that the HUB will need an update in order to save scenes with the C4 due to the number of parameters. At this time they do not have a timetable for this update.

@4Mal Jesse and I went over this today. I am proposing a near term solution to him where one can use the Hub Manager to add a C4 preset to a Hub Scene. Its not as easy as pressing the "save" button on the Hub, but its a fairly good work around that can be done quickly. Given that most of you will be connecting the C4 to an editor...should not be too bad.
Guess I am not understanding the architecture. I was thinking I would create patches using the editor and trigger them through the Hub, using my Soleman...

That will work. That is, however, not the only way to save a preset on the Hub. This way is for some far easier:
1) send a PC to the Hub. Let's say 10.
2) turn knobs on one pedal. Load up a Neuro preset with your phone on another. Turn more knobs. Add a bit of dirt with the LA Lady. Tap in some tap tempo. And whatever else you want.
3) Press save on the Hub.
4) Every time I send a 10 PC to the Hub I will recall all of these settings.
In one button push you have saved thousands of parameters. With an all MIDI system you could take all afternoon to do what I just did in 2 minutes.
The one button push save will not work with C4 right away. But adding with the Neuro Desktop should work.
ThinkI get that. Will have to get the Mac or Win neural editor loaded up when I get a chance. Does the editor know about the c4’s control set without the c4 connected ?

It’s my understanding that there will be no more beta units. Regular release “soon” (weeks?).

You cant see the C4 editor today, but soon. You can look at an "off-line" editor for any of our pedals by going to "View" then "Show Offline Device Editor". Its a really handy way to browse what can be done on a pedal that you might not own or have connected at the moment.
Managed to snag what was probably the last C4 on reverb as the listing dropped off right after I placed the order. Any idea on when they will ship out?
I believe they are supposed to ship out today (per the TGP thread). Heard there was 1 left from yesterday! Way to go!

Dear Purple C4 Beta Owner:
Thank you for your trust in us, and congratulations for being one of the first sonic pioneers to explore that vast universe of sounds that is the C4. This product has been the life-long dream of our effects guru, Bob Chidlaw, and it is intended to give guitar and bass players access to the power of a full-blown Euro-rack modular synthesizer, but in a small pedal. Prepare yourself for a mind-bending journey!
Some important notes:
1. This is a BETA version. It might take a bit to get things going. Be patient.
2. We will email you a special link for the updated editor tomorrow (Thursday, June 20). Send me email if you do not get this. We put a USB cable in the box to help!
3. Out of the box, Control 1 and Control 2 are assigned to Sensitivity and Output Level, respectively
4. There are 3 presets on the toggle, but they are basic. Publish your best work, and who knows you might make it in the production version of the pedal!
5. There will be firmware updates, so be prepared for this.
So, have fun and let me know what you like and what needs work. Visit the C4 thread on The Gear Page. This will be a great place to ask questions and learn more.

I just found out about the C4 an hour or so ago. I've been looking for something like this for a while. Clicked on a link that took me to the SA store on Reverb and there were a couple there. Shazam! Good chance I'll have it tomorrow.
Now I just need to find out what I bought and how to use it.
The way I see it, the more an effect will drive my cats crazy, the better it is.
