Sweetwater is one state over - mine was delivered the next day.

City Music Annex out of MA. I messaged them yesterday since it was still in OKC and that was day 3 since the order - I said 'is it actually 2-day shipping as advertised or just standard priority?'

We ship USPS Priority, if USPS says it will be 2-day. In this case, it looks like they said it would be 2-day, but they are not fulfilling their end, I apologize.

I can certainly offer a refund of the postage cost if it is late ($7.55), hopefully that helps?​

I'm not super bent out of shape about it (even though I am bitching on a message board). And I do appreciate them being responsive and offering to waive shipping. It's more that they advertised it on Reverb and that's specifically why i ordered from them when the listing went up Monday night. They didn't ship til EOD Tuesday and now it's looking like Sat or Monday that it will be here. I'll live without it for a few days, but I think that's a shady way to get a sales edge and it should be necessary to not list 2-day shipping when you aren't guaranteeing that. I've never seen USPS priority go from the east coast to the mountain west in 2-days without expedited/express shipping. So the idea that USPS quoted that seems far fetched.

Anyway - at least that means more user presets will be posted by the time I get mine and plug it in. Get back to work, people!

If he wanted a controller he would've asked for one. He asked for a way to do it without reaching down to the toggle.

Edit: Actually I made a big assumption.
@drewphishes Are you opposed to hooking up an external footswitch for preset control/management?

Feeling the same way :hyper: Just got home from work. About the to wash the heat wave off my back and get to work.

@Grahams Groove I really feel for you. Is there anything you see in the editor or the manual you want one of us to explore for you?

I mean...an external controller or using the toggle switch are basically the only two options, right? Whether you use the Hub or something else you still need a controller, and that's your only non-toggle option. Otherwise I don't understand the question.

When powering the C4 through my Cioks DC8...

There are two inputs that share power for a total allowance of 300mA (9v -- 12v)

My plan was to run the C4 through the 9v (165mA) and then run my Pork Loin through the 12v (16.5mA)

Anyone have input if this will cause issues for power?

In the C4 manual it says at least 165mA. 5mA is such a small deficit but it being a digital pedal it may not have the wiggle room.

If you hold down the footswitch you can toggle between the two preset banks available by default. This would allow you to switch between two presets without touching the toggle or use of an external controller.

However to toggle presets within the same bank yes the only options are the toggle switch or an external controller.

Thanks for the reply!

I made a mistake when typing the current draw of the C4. Yet, 165mA from the C4 combined with the 16.5mA from the Pork Loin still puts me under 200 mA on a 300mA line.

Maybe I'm being overly cautious, I just wanted to confirm that I shouldn't have any power issues running the pedal this way on my DC8.

Super nice of you, but I'm just complaining with the only people in the world who can empathize with the pains of not getting a pedal on time. I'll be patient and just keep reading these threads...

I have no doubt it's possible to program the sound - all the required features are there! I'm just lacking the full understanding of the Bassballs circuit and the focus to really zone in on programming that particular sound.
So far, the journey has led to some in treating dual filter and formant sounds, but nothing that quite nails that particular Bassballs sound (which is somewhat of an archetype of filter sounds). Was curious to know if someone else was closer tot hat goal than me.

I was asking what you answered but if I like it i would def be into a footswitch or midi bank so i can have a lot of presets
