Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

Another great way to control C4 and other SA pedals is $3 rechargeable bluetooth adapter plugged into the pedals and a tablet or phone. When my band plays I can adjust my monitor mix with my old iPad2 connected via wifi to our mixer. Now I'm going to use bluetooth to change presets on C4 too. No other hardware needed and the 1/4 to 1/8 cable comes with the SA pedals. No midi etc.

I own a helix. And I think it’s amazing. I would love a source audio style helix (cough crowd fund cough) but if source audio said they were releasing a preamp pedal with cab sims and stereo ins and outs, that thing would be for sale immediately just like I did with my future impact :D

Also I would like to point out that if anyone out there is reading and feels like they are in a rut musically and don’t have a c4, get a c4. Do it. Don’t wait for used, support source audio, cause they are awesome.

And if you really want to kick it up a notch, use a looper. I smile every time I turn this pedal on.

After so many pedals and buying and selling they all become a blur. The c4 is one of those pedals that stands out.

Hi Everyone in SASS land.
I want to introduce a new member of our support team. David Haan (aka @Gibs210 ) has been unofficially answering questions on the Gear Page since he got his first SA pedal, which I think was the Vertigo Tremolo. Since then he has built up a collection of SA pedals along the way and became quite the expert in terms of helping out other users as well as giving us input on new features (3 presets in Red Mode is called "Gibs" Mode in many places!). After becoming a go-to beta tester on many recent pedals, he is now officially on the team to help out here and on [email protected]. Welcome to TB, @Gibs210 !!

Yep vertigo was the first, it actually showed up a day before the modulation tour box did, I think between “Gibs” mode and all the deep feedback I gave on the tourbox is what got me in a position to beta test the drives (where external control of the second drive channel was my idea :thumbsup:) then I got a lot of early input on the UI of ventris, and pretty much have had first hand on a number of major software updates and beta tested the true spring and C4.

Made lots of other UI and feature suggestions (not all of them good or used in the final product), and have helped lots of guys get a handle on how to use the whole system. I’ve got a long list of features and improvements for the soleman (I’ve been bugging Jesse about that for the last 2 years :dead:)

Before taking employment, I had started work on a video series for the Neuro system that I am slowly working on when I have time available, hoping to get the initial video out in the next month or so, and then continue on with a run down on individual pedals and utility boxes.

So there you have it.
