You really ought to be exploring reverb, especially if you're already using some SA stuff. If you have a C4, adding reverb to it for big bomb drops can turn them into thermonuclear explosions. I am glad, but also not glad, that I looked. Pricewise, with the Ventris 50 bucks more, and having wanted a Nemesis for a few years, I immediately began thinking about selling the Canyon and Ocean's 11 or Dimension Reverb, but this is a bad time for me to even think about another 350... looks pretty badass, and it will make it on my board at some point, especially since I really want a stereo reverb.

I hear ya. I'm not saying I won't ever buy it, but more like it will be further down the road behind a DI / pre which is more necessary for my current needs. But I'm absolutely going to watch every video available and plan for a future where this is on my board.

Didn't someone post a setup with a USB hub involved? I did go as far as buying some right-and-left angle Mini-B cables with standard USB connectors on the other end, then depending on what I decide to do I could just use an adapter on the other end and leave the cables coiled for use with computer or MIDI device.

That was me. I don’t use a dmc micro so my stuff is just usb mini right angle patch cables > 4 port usb hub. Then a 6ft amazon basics usb extension cord.
One thing you could use (or make) is a selectable usb switch. C4 on one side with input A going to DMC and input B going to computer. Might need some adapters though.

I didn't have a reverb pedal on my board....until I acquired my C4. Just a little reverb after a synth bass patch makes a huge difference. In a good way.

Very cool! Dig the freeze function on the reverb and the multiple beat division feature (in stereo too!) on the delay. Top notch

Is it possible that you could override them via the neuro app? I agree, as it stands I'm not that interested, but if i could replace the stock delays with any of the nemesis delay algos...well I may be tempted.

The Hedra is an awesome pedal. I don't have one, but my guitarist uses one and it's really really effective. Here's what he's doing with it:

About 50% of the delays I use from my Timeline are pitched (octave-5th, octave, or minor third, etc.), the rest tend not to be the straightforward ones beyond a tape-echo or two. Similarly, I'm using a bunch of the more ambient patches on the Atmosphere or the effected verbs (like the Mod-Verb set to ring-mod and then keyed to the LFO set to randomized wave form); though I also have a few lighter verb patches I use to sweeten a clean tone for Fretless, etc.

Anyway, I've read through the manual a few times and it doesn't look like it maintains the ability to reprogram delay types as the Nemesis Neuro does. Also, it really looks to be a guitar-centric pedal. No high passing on the delay engines, which is a Timeline feature that works well for me. I'd honestly trade the 'stereo' option for the 2x engine allowing for more delays or layering of delays plus the verb. I certainly don't run stereo bass on stage nor do what 95% of live performing bass players. It's a useful studio thing for some I guess.

Sort of confused by the tease they posted suggesting it was 2x Nemesis + Ventris given the feature set.

Collider will be GREAT for hardware synth players that need outboard delay + verb. Can keep it on the synth rack for easy hand manipulation of the knobs.

For a user like myself who uses effects for writing, inspiration and only sparingly uses live- and also plays some guitar and at least 3 old school analog synths-
This is the perfect pedal.
I was truly about to get a Nemesis and Ventris- those two would be more versatile but also considerably more $$$ and again- as a non-power user- that is a minor consideration so I can buy more OD pedals without regret

It’s about time some put an actual Freeze in their delay!!!!! Jeez that took forever. I know there’s other delays out there that do this sorta thing but to me they never quite made just like the EHX Freeze. This sounds like the exact thing abouts.

Fantastic ! Yeah for me I use it mostly for 5ths and octaves, I'm just scared of setting scales in patches since multiple bands use multiple things. It does so much though, which is why I almost didnt put it on a board to begin with. The hard harmonizing ability with a keyboard is way too much fun lol.

Thats a shame about the Collider though, there's a lot of potential to be had in that form factor should Source Audio make a "slate" pedal that you could upload any reverb, delay, or mod algorithm into.

I spent some time looking for a video that has some C4 for you, but its only been on my board and in use for a few weeks, so there's nothing up yet that I love. In the meantime, here's a song that has nothing on it...but it goes from quiet and slow to full freight train.
