I actually had to search different stores to find the right USB cable. Ended up getting one at a GameStop and it was an XBox cable. I then ordered another one from Amazon, as the one I got was used and who knows how long it would last. The one I got from Amazon was I think 10 or 12', which has come in handy.

Can you please link the one you bought on Amazon? I'd love to pick one up and get editing.

I actually got a 6' one according to my order history, but did find a 10' option available. This link goes to the 6' one in a 2 pack, but you can select the 10' one. Tried linking it directly, but when I clicked it went to the 6' one for some reason.

FYI: This one is a MICRO USB, not a MINI USB... That one won't work with SA pedals.

Sorry, link I pasted originally was wrong. Had to go thru my order history to find it, then to find longer cable, it apparently changed to a micro.

No worries of course! Just wanted to make sure no one bought that Micro that wouldn't work. I actually added your revised link to my Bass Gear Amazon list for future reference.

Dumb question though, does the Spectrum not come with a USB? My C4 did...

My Spectrum did not. It came with the quarter inch to 3.5 cable for connecting to the phone though.

My C4 didn't, which led me on the chase for one that night after the UPS man left. I assumed a normal phone charger USB would have worked, but none of the dozen or so I had laying around worked. I may end up buying a couple more of those myself as they can probably get bent as easily as the phone ones. The GameStop one I got was wonky and would disconnect with little vibration, which, of course, isn't so good with loads of bass within a few feet. :)

Anybody else having DMC Micro issues, again? Mine, suddenly won’t change presets! Worked fine at my gig last night!

I am. Was working great after the update that you provided the tutorial video for.

Then just two days ago, out of the blue, it doesn't seem to read my C4 correctly? Every patch I went through was the same sound  I actually forgot to investigate this further until I read your post.

Also, just started playing around with the C4 on guitar and that DMC Micro is really noisy

DMC definitely needs an isolated power supply.

I can't remember if I run my DMC-3XL on it's own tap or if it shares with something else that is non-reactive to what it does... But yeah, often in the world of digital pedals you need to do some sorting if you're sharing taps. It usually comes across as high pitched whine or noise.

Yeah, its not terribly loud, but its certainly there. With a single coils on my guitar, once my volume is up enough the noise from my single coils actually takes over the noise from the DMC Micro. Mind you, the noise isn't an issue in a live situation.

It's funny because when it starts up, it makes all kinds of sounds as the screen displays its startup config.

I will be playing around with the setup of my board and see if I can get it isolated. Thanks for the tips ya'll:)
