My guess would be the Multiwave One Series, but Roger said on TGP, in what turned out to be Collider thread, that a pedal with a screen was in the pipeline. So (stereo *fingers crossed*) programmable EQ and Compressor with DI?

But more important than rampant speculation is my New Pedal Day! All plugged up and ready to play, got the PreSonus set to record. and Neuro Desktop ready to go!

This is very good news! At the moment my Hub still just feels like an extra routing step.

Couldn't get the Neuro Desktop to work. Didn't try my phone, but on the computer, it showed the Collider, and said I had the latest firmware, but I downloaded a Cloud preset and when I clicked it, an error message popped up saying device not recognized. Turned it off and on, unhooked and rehooked it up, no go. But decided to press on messing with it. I had an issue there when trying to send it to dual reverb mode using the control button, and somehow it seems my delays are on the reverb side, and my reverbs on the delay side. For instance, when I engage the reverb button, a delay effect engages, and vice versa. And it even seems to utilize the Freeze on the delays. Some beautiful sounds achieved, but am thinking of doing a factory reset tomorrow after work, as well as trying the Neuro Mobile App. I got a few presets saved manually, but shouldn't be too hard to replicate them, or even improve them given another shot after the reset.
Think I may need to reroute with Platform Compressor in between C4 and Collider. Found the MarkBass Super Synth worked a bit better with the Collider, and any dirt from the MWBDP really drove the Collider hard. Also, after backing the drive down on the Moog 12 Stage Phaser, I found it worked incredibly well with the Collider. Though I have a bit of volume drop to fix, and had to back the resonance back some (I like it maxed and use the EP-2 to send it into massive falling sounds), it sounded great, even when I switched to my acoustic/electric guitar. Very impressed so far, hoping to get the technical kinks worked out, and have a practice with the jamband this weekend, and looking forward to Setting the Controls For the Heart of the Sun!

It's just teething problems. I'm using the hub as a Midi router (like everybody else is) and I'm quite happy with it's current implementation. It's not a very SA approach...but it's working. When the Hub / C4 integration is fully complete, I'll have to completely re-work my Boss ES-5 patches that currently use the C4. It'll be nice to have a unified interface (scenes etc) but it's not essential for me. I've found that Midi implementations are always a bit quirky across all brands. Eventide's approach is very straightforwards, Strymon is just a bit cryptic and vague. The worse of the bunch is EXH's Hog2...that's a nightmare. There's no interface, no external UI (iphone or laptop) so it's all flying in the dark and pushing buttons and sending blind Midi CC's in the hope it all works. Nice one EHX...so this little SA bump is a small issue compared to the nightmare it might have been in a parallel universe.

Yeah, I have that Micro Ghost sitting at home unused currently. To me having Disaster Area switch over to CC-command from PC command for their patch switching made me worry less about the Hub because I at least have functionality. The other thing is that I'm a bit lazy and decided it was easier to leave the expression output on the Hub rather than go in and reprogram my patches on the ES-5 to use its expression input.

Agree that the Strymon's MIDI integration is oblique. Setup on some of the expression related stuff is really funky...I messed with a tape delay where I could use expression to slow down the tempo...it was functional but ended up being a pain. If I really want to deal with such things I'll break out my actual vintage Space Echo.

make sure the desktop app is running the latest version, if that doesn’t work, 7.1 shouldn’t be too far off from now. As for the engines being backwards, it sounds like you unlocked both sides and ended up dialing in reverb on delay, and delay on reverb, resulting in the backwards signal path. If your having volume level issues with your existing stuff, you can try lowering the output level on each engine in the collider to see if that helps too.

On the opening up the reverb on delay side and vice versa, yes, that's what I thought, but once it did, it did not return to "normal" once I disengaged, unplugged the pedal and started it back up, it seemed locked to that, no matter which preset I changed to, no matter what I did with the control button. That's why I was thinking of dojng the Factory Reset. And I did download another version of the Desktop Editor, though it said I had the latest one already. But I haven't had chance to try anything since I got home. I was up way too late, like a kid on Christmas night playing into the wee hours, forgetting I had to be back at work at 8:30, and just awoke from the nap meant to make up form that lack of sleep. Now an internal debate rages as to whether to mess with it tonight, or start afresh in the morning.

The problem on volume wasn't the Collider I don't think, I think it was simply putting the compressor after the Collider, when common sense told me it should be between the C4 and Collider as I normally put reverb after compression levels things off. It just struck me as somewhat odd that the SuperSynth seemed fairly tame without the compression before the Collider, it's usually as spiky as the C4. The MWBDP fuzz driving the volume is probably also related to the moving of the compressor. So, that should be the esieast fix.

ok keep me posted, I might have to get with Jesse next week to figure out if it’s this older version of the editor to blame for the community preset issue. Can you check all your presets using the desktop to see they show up in the wrong engine position? If the first preset was built in reverse and each additional preset you made started from that one, then they will all be reversed.

When I opened the new version, it did have a software update for me to download, and I did. It seemed to work. I've been able to open and edit community presets and saved and uploaded one of my own, which needs more tweaking. But the main thing is, it's working. I only have an issue with one preset, which, when engaged #2 shows only a Digital Delay chosen, but I haven't made any presets with just one engine, and this is the only preset where the red light to the left of Mix lights up.

I do have a question about the 3 o'clock Mix position in the Desktop Editor: is that still holding true to 50/50 at that position? It seems more wet at that point than a 50/50 split (more like 70/30?), whereas the pedal seems to be closer to 50/50 there. I ask because I recorded a stereo wet connection, along with a clean channel from my DI, and the dry, even when turned up seemed buried. And I didn't want to turn the output levels down, they were close to 12 o'clock, which was a reasonable volume.

Just want to share my positive experience.
Reached out to customer service asking for the specs of the cable to connect the neuro app on my phone , I bought an Aftershock used and it didn’t came with the cable, without hesitation they asked for my address and told me they will ship a cable even though I told them bought it second hand, got the cable 3 days later and was able to work on my pedal successfully.

great customer service, I am a Source Audio fan for good.

Do I recall someone using a USB hub to connect both their computer and a DMC Micro to their C4? It would be great to be able to have both plugged in at the same time (more specifically, not have to plug/unplug/replug every time you wanted to go from one to the other).

I believe someone was doing it that way.

it's not an issue for me because I'm currently using the Neuro Hub and sending from my DMC by way of 5-pin.

For the record, the 'coiled USB' under my board has worked perfectly.

Isn't this the hub that we've seen under someone's board?

I’ve got a small mono price hub, that’s like literally 1 inch cubed. Have ran hub, reflex, and soleman and have been able to connect to my pc and use the editors just fine, I know th it’s not always the case though with usb hubs. I got lucky, thinking of upgrading to a 10 port hub so I can have each pedal connected to the editor in my rig as well. Something to be said for the interactive controls when going straight to the pedal.
