Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

Yeah, its not terribly loud, but its certainly there. With a single coils on my guitar, once my volume is up enough the noise from my single coils actually takes over the noise from the DMC Micro. Mind you, the noise isn't an issue in a live situation.

It's funny because when it starts up, it makes all kinds of sounds as the screen displays its startup config.

I will be playing around with the setup of my board and see if I can get it isolated. Thanks for the tips ya'll:)

Could it be that USB cables in the mix might also cause issues? Any experiences?

It's a good rule of thumb to never use any digital pedals on a daisy chain for power. They like to be on their own.

It is. I'm currently using 6 pedals in one daisy chain connected to a power bank. 3 of them are digital (Keeley Caverns, C4, and a Polytune). The noise is negligible/pretty tolerable, but I briefly tried to include a DMC Micro and it was buzz city.

Well that's a good question and I've been wondering that as well. Not sure if anyone else can provide some info around this?

In my case its certainly the DMC Micro. I plugged my pedalboard in without the DMC Micro and the noise was gone. I haven't gotten around to adjusting my power supply set up so that it can be isolated just yet.

For the most part, the source audio pedals all tend to get along with each other when sharing power (so long as the amperage is sufficient). Ventris can get a little noisy if sharing power, collider might be the same issue considering it’s largely the same architecture and a dual processor pedal.

Now that the Collider is out, what do y'all think is gonna be the next big project? Isn't there supposed to be one more in this series?
They've said a One Series Multiwave is in development. I don't think it's the next one, but I'm not sure.

Isn't the Multiwave pretty much already a part of the C4 and Spectrum? What am I missing?
I think they only contain a few foldover distortion-type engines (the Aftershock also has 1-2 IIRC), they aren't as deep as the original Multiwaves or what a hypothetical new one would be like.

Beta test files for c4/spectrum support on hub went out yesterday. Haven’t heard any bug reports yet, the little I messed with it yesterday pertained to loading presets from the community, and I had no crashes or errors in the process. Didn’t do any deep adjustment in the editor to see if I could break yet though. All goes well, it will be available for public download soon.
