Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

OK so i just got around to updating my C4 firmware and i assuned that would allow me to set scenes with the c4 included ans also edit the c4 parameters "through" the hub?

did i understand correctly? because i cant get it to work :(

hub and C4 firmware are up to date.

edit. the hub firmware on the SA site (1.17) is NOT the latest.
once i updated the desktop manager, it sait there was a hub update 1.18 which i installed.

Soleman Editor bugs that might have solutions?

1) I can't seem to be able to export a backup file (see screenshot)
2) How come in panel mode the macro on/off selectors are not active (see other screenshot)?

Other than that, I set up scenes and lists. I checked that the fourth footswitch is Tap Tempo, which works in scene mode. Weirdly enough, when I'm in list mode, tapping doesn't send anything. However, while still connected to the editor, when I re-check "Tap Tempo" for the fourth switch, the taps make it to the pedals...
anyone?

I don’t think that’s an issue with the editor, sounds like a computer specific issue. Have it done it lately, but I’m pretty sure it works.

Yep. Happens when using the Neuro editor to switch patches but not if you're using the Hub (since that's what you have to do if you're using MIDI and accessing more than the six hardware slots.

I’m really enjoying the ventris so far! I’ve downloaded the Neuro app and I’m trying out presets. Though I did have a question. Is there a regular modulated reverb, without tremolo?
Most of the reverb engines in Ventris have modulation depth and rate. You are good to go!

Maybe @rsmith601 remembers what I’m talking about, about a month ago someone shared a video of a tremolo preset for the c4 that was like a goatkeeper/pattern tremolo sound, seemed they were using the sequencer somehow to do this? Did anyone share that preset? I never caught a username if so.

For anyone using a DMC Micro: Do you notice a lag when you try to engage a pedal with it? I am using a C4 and it lags for at least a second before it engages. It makes changing patches in a live situation....different.

Is there a setting I can change to lessen the lag, or a different controller I can use with the C4 that doesn't lag?

Are you talking about scrolling patches and having them change or are you talking about on/off? My DMC3 you have to hold the button for a second or so to get the pedal to engage, but scrolling is instantaneous.

Using my ES-5, changes are indeed instant.
