For the Nemesis, CC 80(down) & 82(up) with any range value will cycle through the 8 preset slots. No way to cycle through the 128 MIDI slots.
For the C4, you may be able to use the Edit MIDI map function in the Neuro desktop to scroll the 128 slots.

I set up a soleman panel to scroll presets on the C4. You will have to go into the Midi map function on the Neuro desktop app to set up 'increment up' and 'increment down' and assign it to a midi CC command. I used CC106 and 107 since I was already in the 104/105 area for turning on/off presets.

As you can see I have the first 2 switches set up as one shot. My C4 is on Ch1, HX stomp on 2, Hub on 3, Reflex on 4. Left switch sends CC107 on Ch1 to tell the C4 to increment down a preset, 106 on the 2nd switch to move up. I set up switches 3 and 4 as 'jump points' so that I didn't have to tap the button 30 times to get to my next block.

I initially had a mess of C4 presets but I organized it into 4 chunks; Envelopes 1-26, Synths 27-67, Arpeggiators 68-98, Silly Stuff on 99-128. So switches 3 and 4 jump to those 4 points (by doing CC104-6 i get to the Envelopes, then press again to get to Silly CC104-99. 3rd switch does Synth by starting at CC104-27, then jumps to arpeggiators by CC104-68.

Just an idea. But you can set it up however you want, maybe Up/Down and then 2 jump spots to scroll from. Biggest limit is trying to express something in 3 letters on the soleman...

I'm a big Singular Sound fan - I bought a BeatBuddy in the initial crowdfunding stage. I don't use it much any more (good real drummers these days) but I like their approach. The BeatBuddy and the SourceAudio stuff are the only MIDI components I have - or foresee.
Good match (and I am thinking specifically of the C4) or no ?

I did systems programming for years but haven't yet needed to take the deep dive into MIDI - I see it coming...

That's a nice setup. There is a little learning curve to the Soleman, but it's not bad. It's a powerful tool and well worth learning to use IMO.

I kinda wish that I could map an expression pedal to more than 1 CC in the same scene so I could sweep 2 different things simultaneously, but it's a minor quibble. I haven't found a situation where I need to do that yet.

Yepp, very interesting indeed.
They even claim that MIDI programming will be easy with this controller, I'm wonder how they made that happen.
Another thing, the video shows a USB port but the rest of the pix don't.
Is the Maestro product for real ?

The page shows that it is available for pre-order.
IME - Singular Sound has been 100% able to deliver on their vision and has been committed to continued development e.g. content, accessories, and derivative products for their highly successful BeatBuddy product. I have no experience with their looper.
I'd take the risk based on my previous experience with the company and their reputation -- if it will indeed facilitate C4 integration.
This is not a recommendation, just a statement of my confidence with the company.
I'll have to dig deeper but I do not have the MIDI knowledge and experience some of you do...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write all this up including a screen shot! Such a great way to go about it! Once I have time, I will definitely have panels like these, one for C4 and one for Nemesis.
For the next few weeks we are going to be busy with renos, but I can't wait to get fully into this!

That would be the default, for sure.

That is most common. Alternatively, you may want the AS in front of the C4 to push it harder at times and change the character of the filters. Try it both ways and see what sounds better to you. Or get a Boss ES-5/ES-8 and have it both ways!

Having the AS in front of the C4 gives you access to more textures and controls if you're using the C4 as an envelope filter machine.

That is exactly how I run it (have the KM instead of the AS) it allows you the option of having clean and dirty and using the C4 to source, voice, filter and mix them to how you want them.

I've just moved my C4 into the 2nd input loop of my AS, and that's working fine, though I may drop it in it's own ES-5 loop. I really wish the ES's had a bit more power/ability to crossover or even just have independent level control over parallel signals.

Have you tried using the first channel of both the Aftershock and C4 into loop 1 and loop 2 of the ES5 and connecting output 2 of the AS to the input 2 of the C4.
Use the routing options of the AS and C4 to create a parallel crossover which would still allow you the parallel option in the ES5 as well. So you could have a really effected high end with parallel loop structure in the ES5 and a cleaner low frequency in channel 2.

OK, I've thought about it. the pro is that you can EQ your way into a clean low and then send the distortion on to the C4 for processing, or you could process the clean low separately from the distortion channel. I have to get my head around patch building...between the options that are presented.
