After living in the shadow of the C4 for a few months, Spectrum is now sold out.

Well well well... The USPS fairies may or may not have delivered a Spectrum... Looking forward to digging into it this weekend. Will be able to port over my Bassballs Type 23 (C4) patch to the Spectrum for those that want it. I'm also really looking forward to working up a Spectrum patch for the Bass Envelope Phaser, my all time fav envelope. :cool:

@Johno Dunn You mentioned some C4 envelope patches that you might be interested in having ported over?

Finally getting my board together again. I have a hub, a soleman, reflex and hot hand. That I want to control a c4, after shock, Gemini, Nemesis and H9 or two.

I suck at midi so those questions will come later.

With the neuro desktop editor can I set up all my sounds in the editor at the same time?!?!? Then save them all to a patch i can recall with the Soleman?

Yes, you can even do it without the editor. Just use the soleman to select the scene you want to use. Then set each of your pedals how you want to use them, then hold the save button on the hub. Done.

Nope, just boot up the hub, if your other devices are powered on before the hub, you’ll need to hit the scan button, but you don’t need the editor to create scenes.

Once in a while, my C4 sound tiny and low-level when engaged (like a fuzz with low battery, not sure it makes sense). I get it back on track by removing/reingaging the power supply. I first thought it was at startup, but it happened this week-end on stage during the set (pedalboard was tested and on for an while). PSU is a Carl Martin Pro Power (so 9VDC - 300 mA as requested).

Ever heard of this ?

Hmmm. I only ever had similar experience when my power supply was barely able to cover my total power requirements. Different pedal, but similar symptom and remedy.

Your 300ma is more than enough for the C4 on its own. Is the C4 on its own?

You may have a bad port on the power supply. We have seen many that fail over time. Power cables too. Can you experiment with the one we shipped in the box?

Yes it's on a pedalboard, and a very populated one indeed. Probably the PSU shows it's limits, as overall consumption of the pedals is close to the PSU max - even though i don't use everything at once. But i agree the theory.

Quick question regarding the Collider pedal. When it was first released I recall that there were some folks who were concerned that it was not as geared towards bass due to the lack of a low cut option in the delay models which could result in the delays being muddier than compared to the Nemesis. But from reading the manual, it looks like the tone knob on the Collider can act as both a low or high cut on most of the delay models. Most of the reverb models also appear to have a treble and bass filter available. What are people's experiences with using this on bass compared to the Nemesis / Ventris?

I currently own a Nemesis and an Iron Ether Nimbus but am considering switching to the Collider to simplify my setup. I would definitely miss the Helix function from the Nemesis though. Is the SA crew contemplating adding a few more selectable back page delay and reverb engines at some point in the future?
