Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

with the AS direct to Mac.
I did a Factory Reset. Still empty in first three presets and no audio.
I was able to save the defaults into 1, 2 and 3. Still no audio.
A looked at the External Control section. Enable External Control is off. I toggled it and saw it go green, reset to grey/unselected.

Still no audio.

Then I increased the output and the Drive settings, heard a relay click and now I have audio when the AS is not engaged. Soon as I engage, It mutes audio in effect position 1. which is a save as of the default I see in slot 4.

i/o is set to automatic.

... Neuro Desktop just crashed hard. on reboot it no longer sees the AS via USB.

Beginning to think the AS is toast.
How are you powering it? If it doesn’t get the full mA amount required (printed on the back) it will do crazy poopie. Worth checking that. I once thought my Manta and aftershock were dead but it turned out I’d underpowered them and it made me lose my presets.

Clocks DC 10. Just rewired the board to ensure 200 ma each pedal - except for hub which is on a 100 ma. last outlet is set to 15v for my bassbone.

Just attempted again with AS to Mac via USB. Neuro crashed on start up.

Did a restart on the Mac... Neuro boots, sees AS - and I'm back to square 1. First 3 slots are blank. 4,5,and 6 have default settings.

Manually the AS file I downloaded 12/19/2019. Powered down 10 + seconds. Repowered.

Now... first 3 slots are blank but holding the footswitch down for 10 seconds gets me to the second set of on board presets which now finally pass audio...

Desktop editor still crashing like mad though... also getting a lot of noise, pops and burps when moving clean, level and tone with the editor up.

Rebooted the Mac again and now nothing from the AS.

Have you tried doing a factory reset via your smartphone instead?

Are you on the latest version of the neuro editor too?

Still need to get all the way through @Proton Lenny's C4 demo... it's a long one! Started watching last night, it's good so far!

I worked on finishing up a couple patches this morning instead. There was some talk about people interested in a Pigtronix Bass Envelope Phaser patch, and I finished up mine based on my fav settings on the smaller BEP (not the bigass EP2). Not full on phasing like in Zach's demo, but more than just an envelope filter.

I also finished up an "as close as I could get it on the Spectrum" patch for @Johno Dunn loosely based on League's solo sound on The Curtain from Sylva. Spectrum can't do the +2 octave, and the +1 sounds more synth based than digital pitch shifting, but it should get reasonably close in a mix.

5sg.

Hello everyone. A happy Aftershock user here. However, I have a couple of questions:
1-Is the Aftershock compatible with the community presets of the LA Lady Overdrive and the Kingmaker fuzz? I read somewhere that it is, but I cannot use them in my unit. I plug the Aftershock to the computer and it it s that it is up to date, but I can only use the presets with the Aftershock picture.
2-The Lunar Phaser is compatible with the chorus or does it have any chorus presets? I need a Phaser 90% of the time but sometimes I am required to use a chorus in a couple of songs and I (if it is possible to use the Lunar as a chorus) will buy it for sure

It works fine. I just tested it. Plug in the pedal. Click on the "cloud" button. Search for "aftershock" check the compatibility box. You will then see all the distortions, including Kingmaker.
Yes, same it true of all the modulators. You can use the Lunar and have access to all the Gemini sounds.

hadn't tried that. As is now headed to Woburn as SA support sorta stepped in to resolve things. Thank you for all your support while I was working on this. You and Gibbs really stood up! That is the best of what happens at TB. Thanks again!

Now that I’m permanently running pedals in my C4’s loop, I’ve had a go at a patch that runs processor 1 and 2 in series:
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
@rsmith601 It’d be a wonderful addition if a series routing option could be done in software so that one didn’t physically have to patch the cable from output 2 into input 2 as I imagine not everyone will want to have their pedal set up like this.

Handy tip: Don't use black for a font color. Your text is hard to read for anyone using the Dark style mode. :-)

I don’t know what you mean. I simply typed as I normally do.

That's odd. I attached how your post showed up. Maybe it had something to do with the link?

It is odd. Actually I pasted in my text from another forum so it probably ported the text options from there. That’s a sight that doesn’t have a night mode.

I’ve tried fixing it.

That routing is not as easy as one might think. I know it's all software, but it's not going to happen anytime soon.

Is it like an hour long? Think I found it online. Unless he has 1 on just tracking. I do have my usb cable. Disappointed a bit in how the presets u save in ur library on ur phone aren't saved on computer in library as well. I wonder if there's a way to link it by username but other than that awesome first day w it
