Hey, Mr. Source, do I need a Soleman? I have 4 SA devices and a Neuro Hub and another simple midi switcher. Would my life be more full? Would it be easier? And my current switch doesn’t have full text so there’s that. Is it what I need to clean up my board?
The Soleman out of the box is plug and play for scene switching with the hub. You have to setup CC channels per preset, I think my favorite footswitch is the favorite recall switch which is my "Clean" scene which includes all SA pedals but disgengaged, so no matter which preset I'm on I'm always one tap away from a clean tone.
I personally have not used the advanced features such as panel mode, which allows for calling up individual pedal presets per panel and cycling through panels. I've exclusively used it for scene mode.
The Soleman has a pretty large footprint, and the foam on the bottom did not appear to be removable, at least easily or in a way where you won't rip it to shreds. That being said.. I was still able to stick velcro to the bottom.
