Yes I understand how it works now. I was just incorrectly assuming - based on how I've been thinking about how I want to use the pedals - that the Hub saves more data than it does. If it included the presets you'd not need a bigger controller or do any tap dancing between scenes; just recall a scene and then use the pedals as if you didn't have MIDI. Maybe something to consider for Hub v.2.![]()

Jesse says this is something that he had planned for the next release of the Hub Manager.Or, cough, cough, maybe a firmware update?![]()
You just may have put my plans back on track again. And my piggybank hates you.Cant that already be done by simply recalling a scene and then holding down a pedal footswitch for 5 seconds?
This is the comment from Jesse:
"The thought was, we put an option in the Hub Manager so that it sends an extra command for the SB2 pedal to take the scene info and write it to the individual pedal memory as well.
It would only be one preset at a time for now, not both. Both would take a little more work.
It definitely wasn’t overlooked. Just had to make a decision about which way I was going to do it.
But making it an option in the Hub Manager is a reasonable way to do it. Basically, I can just establish a global option that gets set in the Hub Hardware settings. Something like “save scene data to pedal preset memory”"
Gotta say guys, SA has been the most responsive company that posts on here. Whether for answering our questions, or responding to product requests. You guys even respond to our jokes!
No, I don't think so. If the pedal is bypassed in the scene then hitting the preset switch will turn the pedal on with the stored preset from the pedal. If the pedal is active in the scene then the pedal will not store the preset unless you first make a change. And, even if it worked you'd have to repeat for each pedal.Cant that already be done by simply recalling a scene and then holding down a pedal footswitch for 5 seconds?

Everyone at SA gets scared when I am reading S.A.S.S. !!!!I agree. I get the feeling that Roger would want to give in to ALL of our requests if he didn't have a life and a bottom line!![]()
