Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

Routing question:
I have a C4 going into Aftershock. I want to go in mono into C4 and have two patch cables from its Out1 and Out2 into In1 and In2 on the Aftershock. I'd have presets on the hub and macros on the Soleman engaging said presets to enable Out2 and In2 on C4 and AS, respectively. Does Bypass revert to mono or does the automatic detection keep it in this 2 channel Out/In mode?
Thank you :)

The Joshwah has a really nice sounding wah. But all the lows go away when it's on. I actually like its wah a bit better better than the Microtron IV, but the low end loss is too much to deal with.

Odd, I've never experienced any loss of low end with the Josh Wah.

This happening with the Gain set low or high, or just with Gain up high?

I'm wondering if it might be an interaction between either gain, or possibly some Freq and peak settings?

As I recall, I tried pretty much the full range of every control. I'll have to try it again.

Sounds like it could be the Sensitivity being set too high (particularly if you are pushing the Gain), so the filter would always stay up high in the sweep (which would sound thinner especially if pushing the Resonance which will be boosting the mids and highs through the sweep). I don't have a JoshWah, but for thicker tones I set the Sensitivity/Threshold on any envelope filter to where it is barely sweeping when I play lightly. If you set the Sensitivity too high then the filter never has a chance to drop down into the fat range (also dictated by the Frequency control- so nearly all the controls could be the issue working in concert with each-other!)

Not totally sure, but typically using buffered bypass ensures that you still pass signal on channel 2 of the one series, true bypass will disable channel 2.

I would love to try it! Please share and tell us the name.
I tinkered some more last night, and I think I'm happy with it. I'll upload it when I get the chance (might be a few days). It's a little unwieldy to tweak (the lowpass and high pass bands have to be frequency adjusted to mimic what the cabsim does), and I can't get the top end resonance to shift the same without using and expression pedal to tweak multiple parameters at once, but I have a high end resonance control to allow tweaking that achieves a similar curve (just with two controls instead of one). It's also geared for bass use and would need a couple of adjustments to extend the top end much beyond 6k in a pleasing manner.

I'm so mad I want to cry. They got me hook, line and sinker! Even started looking round the internet to get more info. I'm so ashamed.

Hey I was wondering If someone can help... I needed to make some changes to my C4 and when I opened the Neuro app on my laptop (windows) I noticed I had been logged out. I cannot for the life of me remember my login information - this has never happened, I haven't logged out before - and there is nowhere to retrieve a password on the login screen. I save all my settings to the cloud.. I was hoping to do the same. The same thing occured on my desktop so I have no clue where to start.

Anyone know how to retrieve the login info?

If you have the app on your phone, logout and then click "forgotten password?"
Otherwise, I'm not sure.

Unfortunately i only have the app on my laptop and desktop. I could try that though and see if it does anything.

This happened to me once too, I'm pretty sure I had to go through my phone. Now that you mention it I need to check if I'm logged in! :smug:

@rsmith601 any way to make it easier to retrieve login info through the computer app?
I can't remember if we can reset for you. Please send a note to [email protected]

Is there any chance of multi modulation pedal in size of Collider?
Going back to your thread and paraphrasing my rather long reply, I'd love to see a multi modulation pedal from Source Audio that combines both the modulation engines from the luna / Mercury / Gemini, but also adds the Vertigo engines as a separate channel. I'm sure this could be placed into a smaller one series enclosure using the powerful hardware found in the Ultrawave or C4. Stereo, with two engines per channel. Morphable / blendable...in a small unit with 4 knobs and a 3 way switch.
I'm unconvinced that the larger collider type of enclosure is needed or that it's centre dial would work well with modulation, although I love to be proven wrong!

Hey Guys a new source audio fanboy arrived. I´m not a native english speaker so plz be kind .-)

I wonder if i could use the Nemesis Delay both in an FX chain of an TC Electronic Infinite Sample Sustainer and the normal chain off my Effekts...

Perhapse someone of you guys would be so kind to help?
I wouldn't, collider would be set up better for this using dual mono/parallel split mode where one engine is placed in the loop, and the other is placed in your chain. 2 independent effects, 1 for each channel.
