Quick Collider question for the collective:
I'm currently using an mxr reverb with a custom order switcher that allows me to put it after my delay, or, in the fx loop of a Plus pedal.
I'm curious if the Colliders two inputs could be used in a similar way, wherein, i/o 1 would be the 'normal' signal path, and i/o 2 would be in the fx loop.
Is it possible to route reverb and/or delay to i/o 2 only, while keeping i/o 1 'clean?
Seems like it might be possible from the manual, but wanted to be sure.

For context, I'm doing something similar with my C4: i/o 2 is in a true bypass loop after my drives (i/o 1 is near the front of the chain). This allows post-drive phaser or filters, by routing i/o 1 as a voice direct to the output, and then the post-dirt signal back to i/o 2.
I'd love to replace my delay and reverb with one box, and get two birds stoned at once.

Split parallel will put delay (engine A) through in/out 1 and reverb (engine B) through in/out 2. You won’t be able to have both through one output in this method though. Using the unlock feature on both A and B means your can use delay or reverb on each engine. So maybe not exactly how you’d want, but it would do it.

Split parallel will put delay (engine A) through in/out 1 and reverb (engine B) through in/out 2. You won’t be able to have both through one output in this method though. Using the unlock feature on both A and B means your can use delay or reverb on each engine. So maybe not exactly how you’d want, but it would do it.

Did not know there is a sorcerers' society. I really like the reverb and delay and the spectrum was much better than my other filters. Plus the advance menu (on all the pedals) means I can get rid of redundant pedals.

I bought the pedals for my synth work but now using them for guitars and now bass, but I found an EQ2 and Soleman at ProAudio Star B stock. I have always good luck with them.

Depends on what you want to do. Hub is sort of necessary for the small box pedals without din (forthcoming adapter will fix that, but if you already have a handful of one series pedals, then hub is the better purchase), hub stores it’s own presets/scenes, and does not directly access presets on the pedal (slight exception with the ultrawave, though it’s still not accessing its presets, just points the ultrawave in the right direction and saves the physical knob controls in the hub scene data, all other pedals, the hub stores all the scene data and tells the pedals to load accordingly). So in reality, hub stores 128 scenes(multi pedal presets, for up to 5 pedals), and then can load additional presets in the pedals themselves using cc recall messages on the nemesis, ventris, collider, ultrawave (and bass), C4, spectrum, eq2 and atlas. PC messages cannot be passed onto the pedals connected to the hub, hence the cc recall messages. The older modulations and distortions only have 6 presets, and no midi access to recall them (new adapter will allow for loading these 6 presets via midi, but won’t expand these presets beyond the 6).

So if I only have nemesis. ventris and EQ2. Do I even need the hub if I have the soleman? I was wondering what all the saving feature of the soleman is for in the Scene mode if you have to have the hub. seems like an expensive PC foot controller. Oh well. I guess I'll know when it get's here.

over the weekend, I was reading the manual for the orbital modulator. It's a discontinued model, although feature wise, still very relevant today. I noticed a few details that are very badly covered / described in the One Series modulators (I use a Lunar).
The mix control. Most mix controls are either dry @ 0%, 50:50 at noon and 100% wet @100%. However, in SA land (and not very well documented) the Mix is fully dry at noon. At 0% fully wet and at 100% fully wet on the inverted / out of phase signal. So a 50:50 mix is either 10 o'clock or 2 o'clock on the dials. That makes a lot more sense than the Lunar's manual explanation. It also means that the mix knob has a different result depending on the patch (ie if there's an out of phase element).
The other point that I picked up from the Orbital modulator is the Trem. It's pretty glossed over with the One Series manual, but it's a control in all three units. It's an under rated control and it's inclusion should be more clearly stated in both the marketing details and the manual.
Each Modulation Engine gets a different tremolo response, although the different responses aren't described in any of the manuals. It seems that the Mod Source (Shape knob on the Lunar's controls) greatly influences the tremolo. There's also a Channel 2 phase offset and "Trem invert" tick box.
Having an independent tremolo is a cool sleeper feature of the One Series modulators.
I've been struggling in creating my own rotary patch, mostly because I've not fully understood the trem controls and the Resonator engines. After reading the Orbital Modulator manual, I've realised where I've been going wrong. I needed to use either a Phaser or Quad Chorus as my base engine and then add the trem. I was using the Resonator engines and these aren't "Resonator Cab" models, but are "flanger" models. Lol.

Scene mode is just a PC scrolling bank. It doesn’t save anything. I would say programming wise, it would be easier to use the hub. Without the hub, your gonna need to use the macros so that scene mode sends midi messages to each device when loading presets. Whereas hub will will just need a single PC message sent to it to load the scene data for all the pedals, including the on/off state.

I've just popped "GMC-Rotary" on the community, which is my take on a Rotary speaker simulator and it's for any of the three SA modulators. I use a Lunar because I prefer the baked in knob assignments of all of the three devices. It's pretty close a patch that I created for my old Strymon Mobius, which I then re-created on my H9...and now I have a very similar sounding rotary on my Source Audio Lunar! Which is great, I put less burden on my H9's and have most of my modulation in one box. After having this pedal for nearly two years, I'm still digging into some of it's hidden treasures. It's by far the best sounding Multi modulator that I've used. It's only recently, I realised that it has a basic tremolo built in that follows the mod source shape. It's less sophisticated than the one found in the Spring Reverb or the Vertigo...but it's still pretty versatile and well featured. I've mapped one of my Faderfox's Knobs for the Trem midi CC control. My three Faderfox knobs are assigned to: Lunar Output volume, 3khz Treble control (really useful on bass for a modulation mix cut through) and a tremolo control. Generally, I use the speed knob on the device. If I need to ramp the speed in a live context, hands free, I map my expression to Speed depending on my Midi Controller patch. This is working well for me.

I’m in the cool kids’ club. The spectrum and Gemini (doubles as my phaser) were pretty easy to get going with the neuro app. Do people find using the preset or wysiwyg works better? I could use some help with the Atlas. Is it supposed to be “transparent” or a “tone” compressor? I’ve gone through the 6 settings and tried many knob configurations but I’m not getting any noticeable changes in tone/feel. I compared to my Cali76, Diamond, etc, but the 1176 and cubic zarconia settings in the atlas don’t sound anything like the other pedals. I’ve checked that it’s in Bass mode and I do see the led flickering indicating that it’s working. I feel like I’m missing something.

Are those settings on the Atlas are what you're using now? If so the ratio is way to high, and threshold too low.m
