If the buffered bypass allows trails, then it’s most likely a DSP bypass which means it would be adding a bit of latency, which isn’t 180’ out of phase. That can make fixing issues more complicated of course. I’m just speculating of course, it could very well also be flipping the phase entirely but I’m not sure why it would do that.
That's a good point. It might very well be a latency issue. I'll do some testing based on that hypothesis!
