Can anyone recommend a pedal board manufacturer that lends itself to the cable management needs of an SA board, with the additional Neuro Hub TRRS cables, Neuro Hub, USB Hub and USB cables?

I'm thinking it needs to be something like this, which keeps everything below deck.

I went with a DIY Ikea shelf based pedal board: My DIY IKEA Gorm Pedalboard
Easy project for a low cost option. I was able to customize the size to fit in an oversized $40 laptop case I got on Amazon, and to allow enough space underneath for a power supply and cable management.

Havent really gone that far yet. I have an octaver on only one preset and I dont use that very often. Some of my synth, organ and envelope patches sounded killer with a little OD up front. Again, my thinking was that "you must have clean bass going into a filter" - even though I know my 3Leaf Wonderlove sounds amazing with the You're Doom in the loop. I hadn't thought of putting some dirt in front of the C4. I imagine it wont work for all presets but for the few I tried I loved the results.

I do have a few C4 tracking issues with my 6 string Dingwall. I'm tuned ACGCFBb so the pitches get a little funky every now and then on that bass.

I have yet to try any other routing on any of the SA pedals than what is standard. I've thought about having the Atlas first, but I really dont use heavy comp anyway, just enough to cut the freaky peakies. I really need to dive deeper into the routing options. Creating presets suitable for live use takes enough work as it is, lol...
I run ultrawave>spectrum>aftershock>c4>lunar>atlas works out wonderfully. I use the atlas to glue everything together. A bit of harmonic content from the ultrawave helps the spectrum same for aftershock into c4, since I rarely have everything pedal on. The Atlas being last works out really well in that it doesn't restrict any playing dynamics with the other pedals. Never understood why folks run a dynamic restrictor on pedals that need dynamics. Yes you can run a very low ratio on the compressor but if you're going to do that may as well run the compressor last..

Can you tell me what you like about having the aftershock before the C4 instead of after?

That's an awesome rig, pretty much what I'm going for.

I don't see a USB Hub and USB connections - are you happy enough without making a USB and TRRS/Hub connection to your pedals that you did not build that into your board - if you are using the PC app to build your scenes and recall from the disaster area switcher?

I haven't bothered with a usb hub yet. I always use the PC app for setting things up, and primarily utilize scenes throught the neuro hub, so adding a usb hub would just be a convenience thing in case I want to interact with the Neuro hub and individual pedals at the same time. Might be something to play with in the future, but not really necessary for how I'm using.

For recall, I am using the DA switcher. Usually I have an android tablet running Bandhelper controlling it via usb (built the Midi changes into my setlists) then just have the footswitches as a backup if that fails, or if I'm working on something and want to try some different presets with it.

fleafly32, I'm building up a similar setup. Just got the Set List Maker app working directly with the Neuro Hub today where the song automatically switches the pedal scene. I also bought the DMC.micro Pro to see if I can hook it up as a fail-safe backup, which sounds like what you are doing. Or even better if the tablet can control the Hub through the DMC and provide a visual verification on the DMC of the scene selected.

Do you mind if I ask how your DMC, Hub and tablet are connected? I plan to dig into this starting tomorrow. Thanks.

I'm having a strange issue that seems to be related to the SA168 adapter. Curious if anyone else has experienced this.
The Midi setup:
Morningstar MC6
Future Impact in the 5 pin in/out.
Omniport 2, set to midi standard, connected to the SA168, then to the C4. Midi thru connected to a custom 3-loop switcher.
Omniport 1 is my expression pedal.

Occasionally, when moving the expression pedal, the C4 reacts in unexpected ways. Random parameters will change, and rarely, the C4 will jump to a different patch entirely. There doesn't seem to be any consistency or predictability to what parameter will change, or in which direction. Sometimes it's the master depth, sometimes volume, sometimes one of the voices. It also seems to happen regardless of whether or not "Remote Midi..." is turned on in any particular preset.
There's no indication, from the MC6 midi monitor, that any other midi messages are being sent, but I do see parameters change in Neuro desktop. Sometimes they'll just blip down and back up, more often they'll change and get stuck. At last Wednesday's rehearsal, the master volume dropped, and I had to re-engage the preset from the MC6.

I switched back to the hub for rehearsal Saturday, no problems there. I should have some time this afternoon to dive back in and test. Obviously, first thing I want to try is isolate just the MC6, SA168, and C4.

Anyone else experience something like this?

Just got the DMC, but I think I've figured out how I want to use it. I've setup 10 or 11 presets on the DMC that trigger the min 10 or 11 scenes on the neuro hub that I use. Then I run my tablet into the DMC to run the Midi commands through it. For those main 10 or 11 scenes, I've set the Midi channel and PC numbers in Bandhelper to trigger the DMC. This way the name shows on the DMC whether triggered from the app or the footswitch. For any other lesser used scenes, I can still use the app to trigger by setting them to the neuro midi channel and PC numbers.

So far, I like this setup. Nice to have the display to show a short name for the preset on such a small pedal. The only thing I think is lacking is I wish the DMC had a way to allow scrolling through presets without triggering them (eg. changing from preset 1 to preset 10 without triggering every preset in between). Not a deal breaker though, since I typically only change presets between songs. If I do need to change mid song I'll just need to make sure that the necessary presets are adjacent on the DMC.

The DMC does this. I use it to control the C4, UW, and Collider. I can use it to run through "scenes" which is a combination of the a,b,c,d bank (P mode), or you can individually select a, b, c or d bank which is connected to the corresponding pedal. A is the hub, B is my C4, C - UW, D-Collider. You can set up the DMC to have the presets engage or not when you scroll. My "scenes" arent saved to the hub, they are controlled by the DMC and i can edit those in the DMC online editor. You can see by my board i have quite a few different cheat sheets to let me know what is what. Im in 4 bands that use different presets. The cheat sheets go a long way.

Sounds like exactly what I need. I have a soleman trying to wrap my head around that. Given how much board real estate you're saving, does the soleman does what the DMC does. Or is it mostly used to save space?

I have honestly never tried the soleman. I looked into it after i got the DMC, but when i realized i couldnt scroll the pedals individually that knocked it off my list.

The DMC is really easy to use once you get it set up. For me, i set up P mode as 1-10 for one band, 11-20 for another band, etc.. this way i know where i am at all times. However if i want to scroll through an individual pedal i just hold down the right footswitch, select which bank and you can go up or down from there. Before you save a preset, you can select it to be toggled on or off while scrolling with the left footswitch. For me its great, i can do "scenes" saved to the P mode or just individual pedals if I want.

I think the soleman may be able to control more pedals though. The way i do it, A is the Hub so that leaves me 3 pedals i can control with the DMC. Curently I dont need more than one comp or OD setting so the Atlas and Aftershock arent connected to the hub or DMC. I just use the toggle switch on the pedals for those.

Thanks! In this case, do the Midi signals from the DMC go to each pedal via trrs connection from the Neuro hub? I wasn't sure if midi through signals are transferred through this connection. Do you switch presets on the Aftershock and Atlas at all (I would assume via hub scenes)?

To question 1 - Yep.

To question 2 - only with the toggle switch on the pedal. I should use more Aftershock settings but i can get close enough to those same sounds with the UW for my current needs. I only use the Atlas for light comp with some flavor, so each toggle setting is set up for the corresponding band.

Yeah that's what I would like to be able to do, scroll though a preset list on each pedal then save those settings to a scene... Still trying to figure how to do that on the soleman but if it's not (I don't see why not) I may go the DMC route as well .

Hello, nice place you have here! Has anyone come close to squeezing a bitcrusher out of a One Series? I've been experimenting with my Spectrum but unfortunately I have a little bit of the ADHD and wind up spending hours with sounds that aren't what I am looking for. Any nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

I added a Lunar to my board yesterday - excited to explore some modulation madness. I didn't have much time to play last night but I placed it at the end of my signal path and got some pretty stanky sounds.

While I could use my Android phone to edit patches, I'm considering buying a used iPad to have a bigger interface as well as to access a program like Garageband for future practicing fun. Anything in particular I should consider before moving ahead with a purchase like this?
