For some reason I only see the downloads, release notes and user manuals for the individual pedals. Nothing for the Neuro Desktop app.

If you wanted to chain more than one of the MIDI dongle adapters to handle 2 (or more) pedals, do you just connect a TRRS cable from MIDI THRU on one adapter into the MIDI IN on the next one, and so on?

I know at some point it's better to just have a hub, but I'm running into some space issues on a particularly tight pedal board I'm currently putting together.

Need TRS on the thru->in on the second adapter. TRRS is only connected to the pedal.

It stays on the same view. Just navigate back to the edit view using the back arrow or tab and the new parameters are visible.

It works. It takes a few seconds but now it's working.

But now I have a new problem in that my phone stopped recognizing the pedal. It's not the usb port on my phone because that works with other things and it's not the port on the pedal because I can connect it to the computer. I might try resetting it again and see what happens.

Is there a manual of some type for the Neuro desktop app? It's not completely clear to me what some of the buttons are doing such as Read Pedals and Save.

I have the Neuro Hub connected to the C4, Gemini and Ultra Wave Bass. When I make changes to a pedal and save them in the Neuro desktop app, the pedal will go to those changes if I click on the saved preset. But when I step the Hub to the scene with that pedal it still uses the old settings.

If I need to have the Hub read and save the pedals manually from its buttons, it's not clear that it will get the updated setting and/or be saved to the correct hub scene location. And if I select the Read Pedals button on the desktop app, is that reading the pedals physical knob settings or the saved setting from the app? Thanks for any help.

Only changes to the Ultrawave presets will affect Scenes saved on the Neuro Hub. For all the other pedals the presets are completely separate from what is saved on the Hub.

The Neuro Hub doesn’t care what is saved on each pedal (except the Ultra Wave), it just saves the current settings of each one.

The Read Pedals button reads the current settings from each pedal. It doesn’t read the current position of the physical knobs. Saving the preset using the buttons on the Hub or in the app will save all current settings, you don’t need to do anything extra on each pedal.

Thanks for the details. That's what I needed to know. I did end up realizing I could go to each preset using the DMC.micro, make changes to the pedals being used for that scene as needed and then save to that preset location with the save button on the Neuro Hub. But good to know for sure what the app buttons do.

I have everything working as I needed it to now. My setlist automatically sets the scene and does it through the DMC.micro Pro so I can visually verify what the scene is. I used the same scene names in the Neuro app, the DMC.micro display and the setlist MIDI presets. Ready to lay out the new pedalboard now.

Actually I'm doing the opposite. As the band is running through the setlist, as each song comes up, the setlist sends MIDI commands to the DMC that are also passed through to the Neuro Hub. This way I do not need to remember to select the appropriate Hub scene. The MIDI commands are programmed into the setlist and it is selected to automatically send MIDI before the song starts.

The DMC provides visual verification and a method to manually select the scene as a backup or if the band goes off of the planned songs for some reason. A secondary goal for this pedalboard was to keep it as small as possible so I didn't want to use any of the larger options like Soleman or MC-3 (presently unavailable), etc.

Planning to get the actual pedalboard built up by tomorrow so I can prove it out in 3 different band rehearsals on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. And if it's running smoothly use it on stage Friday night.

Feedback and posts on this thread and a couple others has been invaluable in getting this new, primarily Source Audio pedalboard designed, etc. I just want to take a moment to thank all you hard working Talkbass members for the useful posts and great help! It's greatly appreciated by me and I'm sure others.

Okay, it's been... three years since I used the Neuro software or programed my MC6. I'm diving back in tonight. I'm going to research everything once I'm home but if anyone has links to well-written guides that would be much appreciated.

you're right. granted its a really easy to use plug n play type of program, but they should have some type of documentation

That is really cool! What set list software are you using and is it running on a tablet?

I'm not following you said "the band" ?? You you're not running your own set list?

I'm in a couple of bands and each one generates a setlist for each show. I am entering the setlist for each show into Set List Maker (equivalent to Band Helper) on an Android tablet. It's not too hard as all previous songs are saved and new songs are relatively easy to set up. Some bands broadcast the setlist to all members from one source but these bands are not that sophisticated yet.

I use foreshore and I think it has that capability as well. I will give it a shot. Are you sending midi to the dmc through the USB port on the dmc?

Yes through the mini B USB port. And connecting the DMC.micro Pro MIDI Out 5-pin DIN connector to the Neuro Hub MIDI IN 5-pin DIN connector. There may be other ways to do it but that is what I'm doing.

I put the Neuro Hub on channel 1, and the three pedals on channels 2, 3 and 4. But Set-list is just sending the scene number on channel 1. For scene development I have the Neuro Hub and the three pedals connected to a USB Hub via their USB connectors and then use a laptop to make changes. I use the DMC foot switches to go to the Neuro Hub scene that I want to make/change. After making the changes to the pedals via the laptop I then press the Neuro Hub Save button for 2 seconds to record the pedal details.

Everything is built onto a pedalboard now and has been working consistently. The rest of this week will be the true test. I'll be using it for the 3 rehearsals with 3 different bands followed by the Friday night gig. Wish me luck! Lol.

Hi Everybody - I have a Collider on the way. Are the inputs spaced the same as the C4/etc and can this be connected with the straight connectors in stereo, with or without a little stagger between the different sized pedals? I'm thinking of putting this at the end of the chain, or maybe near the end if the connections lend themselves to that.

They’re a little different due to the midi jack and switch placement
