Hi Everybody - I have a Collider on the way. Are the inputs spaced the same as the C4/etc and can this be connected with the straight connectors in stereo, with or without a little stagger between the different sized pedals? I'm thinking of putting this at the end of the chain, or maybe near the end if the connections lend themselves to that.

If you use those SA 1/4 inch connectors. You may be able to keep the pedals that close. Maybe...

The jacks line up, but the top/bottom of the big pedals is offset by a bit.

Thanks all! Maybe a 2nd row, or one on each end to restore balance! Are Collider settings fully editable from a Neuro Hub connection, or do i need a USB connection + Hub as the Ultawave requires?

Only the ultrawave doesn’t support all controls in the neuro hub. Collider is fully supported for editing. Hub does not access the internal presets on the pedals though.

@rsmith601 just had another thought about Neuro Desktop feedback:

would be incredibly useful if the LFO shape knob in Lunar etc. had an image of the shape at various points as opposed to only an abstract numerical value; I had to break out the manual to look for the shapes and even that didn’t help. I only finally got the info I needed when I used the iOS app.

Oh, and please could also you add a triangle LFO to any future modulation pedal revision.

My advice is to "tread lightly" (pun intended) with these types of connectors if you actually stomp on the pedals individually. It can place some physical stress on the jacks.

Hey I have a question about the MIDI ins and outs on SA pedals. If you connect a pedal like the Ventris to the Hub with a TRRS cable, can you chain the Nemesis off of it using the MIDI THRU DIN out?

If these damage the pedals then Source Audio shouldn’t be selling them.

I did not realize these were TRS/TR and offered this additional capability (below in red)...but If the pedals are TRRS connected to a Hub, am I missing anything with the TR/TR connections I'm using?



The One Series Neuro Couplers provide a robust and efficient connection between side-by-side One Series pedals. This pair includes one 1/4" mono (TS) connector and one 1/4" stereo (TRS) connector. The TRS/TS connections makes it possible to simultaneously send Neuro Mobile App messages and stereo audio signals to an entire chain of One Series pedals. Simply use the TS connector with Input/Output 1 of the pedal pair and the TRS connector with Input/Output 2. No. Not possible. Sorry about that.

The Source Audio connectors seem a bit longer than the ones you are using, so there might be a slight increase in concern over damage using them, but at least these pedals are made for straight through connections.

I'm not using my phone, I'm USB connected to a windows pc, so hopefully it is not an issue. I just want the pedals connected in stereo by this spacesaving approach.

Indeed. Just to clarify, I meant any new modulator hardware as opposed to wishfully thinking the current crop had any space for improvement.

Input 2 accepts audio signals from the phone app via headphone Jack on the R part of the TRS connection, but if you aren’t using a phone app via headphone audio connection to edit your pedals then you aren’t missing out on anything by not using TRS couplers on Input 2. The R connection isn’t doing any communication unless you have a TRS from your phone plugged into the first pedal in line.

Thanks for responding. I am referring to "TRS/TS" from the SA store - i did not realize these were not both TR-TR connections until today, but I'm beginning to see why and what they enable.

My question seems to be answered, I hope this is correct in case anyone else were to attempt this:

I do not need these pairs of TR-TR and TRS-TRS connectors offered by SA to link all the pedals in stereo if I'm not connecting a phone via the included 1/4 to 1/8 TRS.
