Just one more thing to specify:
Let's say that I've "enhanced" Diamond Fabric Preset (I believe it was Alt-2 according to online manual) via app, to have even more character. If I want to fiddle further with this preset using knobs, then my "base" created / enhanced by app is with all the knobs at 12pm be default? For instance, the "default" (set with the app) attack or release level is always at noon and I can increase or decrease it on the fly?

Atlas looks really intriguing, but I feel it's not truly intuitive for those who didn't had a chance to use it in person. Or maybe it's just me

Not noon by default, although if you adjust the range sliders around the control you can get noon to equal your desired value. Each of the knob controls in the app allow you to set a min/max range for the knob.

Congratulations and you have a very sweet load out already.
I would place your Atlas between your C4 and Aftershock. I would then place an EQ on the end where your Atlas currently is.
I've owned both the Collider and Nemesis / Ventris combo and both are great. The Collider is ofthen seen as the baby brother and it really isn't. It's 95% of the good stuff from the Nemesis and Ventris but in a much smaller package. The Nemesis has s bit more control and a great diffuse setting that I like a lot. The Ventris has a lot more control over engine room size (although most of this is really well thought out on the Collider) and the Mod Verb is great fro adding a tremolo / chopper on the end my chain. I could easily live with either option to be honest. The Collider is a lot cheaper, smaller and quicker dial in.

I use the Nemesis and Ventris on my guitar board. I haven't tried the Collider but one thing that is immediately apparent is that switching presets with your feet could be done more quickly with certain delays and reverbs being tied together on the same pedal. Obviously with MIDI in the equation that becomes a non-issue but I'm not seeing that on your board. Ditto if you're just not playing live shows.

I think outside of certain niche use cases the Collider is more than enough reverb and delay for bassists. If/when I need those effects in my bass board it's a strong contender.

I have a Ventris and Nemesis and vertigo on my board. I use the board for both guitar and bass. I haven’t really explored these pedals for bass, I’m afraid. I’m oooking forward to what others have to say about this question too.

I think it depends on the genre of music... if you're into space rock or jamband stuff, there's a place for reverb on bass. Also, there are some C4 patches in the community that emulate an upright bass. I've found that the tiniest bit of reverb on them makes them sound more authentic.

The Gemini can run all the same algorithms as the Lunar Phaser and Mercury Flanger.

I just want to confirm something before I pull the trigger on one of these. If I get a Gemini, can I have a chorus, a phaser, and a flanger loaded at the same time? Not to run simultaneously, so I can engage the chorus in one song, the phaser in another song, and then the flanger in another?

I've never seen a need for reverb with bass so I'm wondering what an example might be. Delay with bass however would be fun to try out and I can imagine the possibility of using it on something.

A little reverb adds some "air" to melodic fretless playing, or any soloistic playing really.

Heavier use of reverb adds sustain and atmosphere to volume swells, and smooths out the transition between swelled notes. When I played in a trio, I used to do volume pedal swells while playing tenths (partial chords) in higher ranges of the instrument as one way of supporting the guitarist.

I've even used reverb to smooth out slide playing on the bass.

I had patches set up on a Line 6 Bass Pod for stuff like this. But since I play in a less adventurous context these days, I'm using a simple pedal board with just gain, compression and EQ. It sounds so much better than the POD that if I ever need reverb and delay again, I'm not going back haha.

There are 6 patches 3 red and 3 green. These can be any of the engines but not simultaneously as you say. Try downloading the Neuro app and having a play with that. It will give you an idea.

Gemini, Mercury and Lunar all use the same library of effect engines that include chorus, flanger and phaser which you can create and save for recall into the 6 memory slots. Each pedal has a different set of presets and dedicated control functions but under the hood so to speak they are identical.

Yea, you’ll need an OTG adapter, it’s necessary for the pedal to work with the app, don’t just get a usb mini b to c cable.

Folks... I need your help. My desktop editor has stopped working. I am running V 0.86 of the desktop on a Windows 11 machine. The desktop, usb cable and usb hub I am using have all worked before. (I have to use a hub as my laptop only has USB 3 ports.) When I hook up a pedal (either my c4 or Spectrum) with the editor open I hear Windows acknowledge the new device with a chime. The editor then freezes. I can't close it - not even with the Task Manager. I have to reboot. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing. Nothing works. The pedals won't connect. Any ideas? Thanks!

So…I really like the sounds I get from my ultrawave, but really hate that I have to use laptop or iphone to edit presets. Ended up removing and going back to hx stomp for amp tones and dirt.

But decided to give it another go again.
I use it in mono/stereo/mono, with one side cleaner and the other dirtier.
Then with midi, using expression to have more or less dirt.

On the pedal i have mapped dirt to control ch1 volume,
Level to control ch2 volume
Mix to control balance between ch1/ch2
And treble to control bass on ch1

This way I could finally get good control to tweak what I mostly need if I need a quick fix live or rehearsals.

The only problem is to not being able to save any changes on the pedal without connecting iphone. Or maybe I’m missing it?

I wish there was a midi msg that could be sent for “save preset”.
