Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

So I have a 2022 MacBook Pro and I can't seem to get the c4 to get read by the computers Neuro app. The problem really is that there's only USB-C ports so I have to use an adapter with it , which I guess is the problem ; but the adapter works with other devices hooked up. I'm stuck using my old laptop with USB-A to made any sound bank changes which is really inconvenient. I've been looking for a USB-B mini to USB-C cable but can't seem to find one. Does anyone have any recommendations how to get this thing working on a USB-C port? Thanks!

I use a no brand hub from a tech retailer in sweden. https://www.clasohlson.com/se/USB-hub-USB-C-till-4-x-USB-A-/p/39-1272

ost hubs should work fine, are you using a data cable and not a charging one? Does it work with another device like a pc connected to the c4?
Something like this should work with your mac:

Because I don't have a Spectrum. I'm reminding C4 owners that aren't thinking to search Spectrum presets that there is a whole other world in there we can access.

Suprising amount of people do not realise this. So many Source Audio pedals share the software between them and i feel there is not a lot of information being shared to let people know. A lot of affiliates to Source Audio here seem to assume everyone knows the backwards compatability between their pedals when in reality there's so many new customers they simply don't. It needs to be made more obvious imo.

it is plainly listed on the neuro app what presets compatible with the other pedals. I don't think there are too many source audio users that are unaware of compatibility. Even knowing other stuff like that the software with the ultrawave is different than say the first release of the series one pedals like the aftershock and lunar. maybe someone should run a poll?

How do y'all ignore this...it's just as clear in the desktop app as well..

It isn't that I didn't know that the Spectrum presets work on the C4, it's just that whenever I've searched for presets my brain goes "okay C4 time" and doesn't think to search the Spectrum section.
There should be a check box you can click while searching to have compatible presets shown. That should include Spectrum presets in the results.

For those not already apart of the “Source Audio Neuro Collective Group” on Facebook, make sure to join up. looking for some input recently on livestream topics.
Yuck, never had Facebook (or Twitter, IG, etc.) no plans to start now, I will just stick to the forums for my “social media”. I know I am in the minority but a little frustrating when companies drive traffic through those platforms…

Try keeping track of every bodies questions/issues/problems over TB, TGP, contact, Facebook, email, etc. it gets hard to track people’s problems when I have to involve Jesse and it’s going through back channels.

to be clear, this is me looking for user input, not source audio directly. I started a pole in the group there to get input on stream topic ideas so I knew where to focus.

You will be happy to know that I spend no time engaging on the Neuro Collective. For some of our users, FB is the preferred place to discuss all things Neuro. For some others it is TGP. And for all of you, it is S.A.S.S. I prefer TB and TGP. @Gibs210 dutifully jumps back and forth between the various platforms to offer support. Very grateful for that! :)
