Um excuse me please?

Any chance you officially know nothing about this pedal that officially doesn’t exist yet?
I’m sworn to secrecy so cannot say anything until expressly allowed to do so. The fact it’s been photographed and shown publicly by SA makes me think I might be ungagged in the not too distant future.

I’m waiting with bated breath. About to completely take apart my board to go 95% SA next month and really hoping I don’t end up with FOMO once it’s all dual locked and cable toed down ‍♂️

But of a leap, but I reckon...
I think the "KT" that's just visible, and the possible preceding "A" that's just out of shot, spells "SUBTRAKT", and it's some kind of subtractive synth? I know there already IS one in the C4, but maybe newer/different in some way?

I've already bought it in my head anyway.

Looking for some advice. I am one of 4 bass players in my WT and I am the only one with a pedal board. Everyone else is happy just to plug straight into the direct box and go. My WT leader has asked me to see what kind of pedal board I could put together for the church with $1,000. I can come up with something that would work fine for me but the other guys want something simple and easy to use.

One way I could go is a board with just a few things like compressor, overdrive, chorus, octave (maybe), delay (fun but can get messy if not used right), reverb. Or, I could go with a multi effects processor like a Boss GT-1B.

If you favor a pedal board, what would be your essentials? If you favor a processor, any recommendations?

If it helps, we play a mix of 30% hymns, 70% praise choruses. Nothing really cutting edge – stuff like Shane and Shane, Tomlin, etc. We do have really good sound crew that always gives the bass enough punch to be heard.

I favor a pedal board but I’m open for suggestions.

Thanks!

Reminds me of this with the shoe.

Old question: spectrum or C4?

I had a spectrum, loved the envelopes. Got sick of the interface. Went analog with a Josh Wah, which is great but does one thing. Got a C4 and only use it for the envelopes but wish I could do more tweaking on the fly.

I’m thinking of trading the C4 for a Spectrum. Is this crazy? Literally only using it for envelope, envelope phaser, and phaser.

Not crazy at all. The Spectrum exists for good reason!
