If I use my PEQ with the HUB, I have to use PEQ 1 with Program 1, etc. Any MIDI Program 5 or higher will bypass the PEQ.

In the end, I simply don't use my PEQ with the HUB. It's easier to just change it manually.

Gotcha. I'd be cool to have a firmware update to allow custom EQ for each preset, or a hardware update to add the multi sensor in!

I'll probably just do what you're describing. An awkward foot position, but what the hell.

So having recently spent a LOT of time dealing with MIDI programming, I assume the problem is that the PEQ can only recognize MIDI PC 1-4 (the manual seems to confirm this). Given that it uses standard 5-pin MIDI rather than the Hub, you don't need the Hub anyway. If you really want to have certain PEQ setting with a certain Hub scene, you need a more complex MIDI device that can send multiple MIDI messages at a time---so you send your Hub scene PC command on the Hub channel and the PEQ PC command on another channel.

One thought I've had is use my Zoom MS-60B with the SA pedals; a Disaster Area MIDI footswitch with the gHOST add-on should be able to send PC commands to both MIDI (to the Hub) and USB MIDI (to the Zoom) at the same time, right? (I'll try to verify it can do this). And you'd have much more options both for EQ and other effects like delays as well. Not the same audio quality maybe but good enough for live use anyway.

Well the OFD and hub are gifts that give throughout the year. I currently only use a Midi Moose as my controller, which is really limited but effective for me. I've been holding out on an upgrade because I fear the "Option Paralysis" that comes with having every option at your fingertips.

An update: I got a reply from DA and they said both outputs send commands and you can even program them to send different ones (unclear exactly what this means, I'm happy with identical PC messages on the same channel to begin with). I guess I'll just have to order one and see what can be done.

DA is a really cool company. I loved my midi looper thingy I used to have.
