I am using it on Windows 11 with my Atlas. Haven't done much beyond run through my presets but I am not having your issue. The Atlas is the only SA pedal I have,

It really is. There’s so much you can do with the footswitches, you can assign two separate functions to it (one when holding, one when tapping) and of course there are multiple choices for these. It can even be used to bring in one of the soft controls, which themselves can control 3 different parameters simultaneously. Footswitches can also be used to scroll through presets - you hold both footswitches to enter navigation mode then use them to move up and down.

Soft controls assigned to knobs mean you can have three independent controls mapped to three portions of a knob’s travel.

The Artifakt looks like a lot of fun!!! I may get one eventually. So many possibilities within that thing. My eyes are more centered on the EQ2 atm though. But the new one looks really cool and I may end up with one soon than later. I'd like to see more demos of what others are doing/going to do with it. I had a Red Panda Tensor a while back that I wanted since it's release. Finally got one and realized it wasn't what I thought it would be/I couldn't do what I wanted to get out of it.

Hey @Quatschmacher can the artifakt do any runaway delay type things where you can control/sweep the runaway? Like does it do delay at all?

It’s a very capable delay with ping-pong and dual options. And yes, delay time can be assigned to an envelope, knob, footswitch or pedal.

A lot of what the Artifakt can do I can already do with different pedals. But preset management with those pedals is harder than Source Audio, and none of those pedals have a UI. It's all good to mess around with a Chase Bliss pedal to find some cool sounds, but trying to then save those presets in a way I can easily get them again is a nightmare. With the extra physical controls on this new platform it looks like this pedal supports both the Chase Bliss style "messing around with the knobs" and precise, repeatable setup using the UI.

Bluetooth would have been nice, but USB-C is good enough for me. Sometimes tracking down a mini USB cable can be a pain :D

Source Audio has this impressive ability to take some kind of pedal that I would otherwise not be all that interested in and make me say, "Hmmmm. Tell me more...".

It's like they take some category of pedal and slam dunk it. I won't say they "embarrass" all the others, but for those of us who really love being able to customize our sounds, Source Audio hits a sweet spot.

Only one time-based effect at a time, I’m afraid. Usual MIDI sync and division capabilities.

Neuro is an insane level of expense that none of our competitors are making. It is vital for us to understand how it is being used so that we know what works effectively and what does not. We cannot be spending this money blindly. There must be some way to determine if its effective or not. I have absolutely no interest in tracking info to sell to others. We make apps to sell pedals. That is the point. Other companies don't sell anything other than information about users (Facebook, Instagram, Google, etc.). We sell pedals and want our app to make all of you like our pedals and the experience more than what you can get from our competition. Hope that makes sense!

Thank you for this. I sure wish other companies had this level of transparency regarding data and how it's used for the benefit of the users rather than just using it as another revenue stream.
