If I remember correctly, when I had first saved presets to my pedals, I also saved them to my library in the editor. Then when I was accessing a pedal via the Hub to create new scenes in the editor, I could pull from the presets that I had saved in my library.
I hope that Makes sense.

The Ladder Filter in Artifakt takes up an insane amount of code. You will note that it is mono.
That Ladder filter is easily one of the best "dirt pedals" out there. Did not see that coming!

So I’m working on making a quick video on how to use the artifakt as a multi fx when using a midi controller. Just spent last night building a single preset just to show that it can be done without changing presets. Forced me to get creative with the knob assignments some, so I have some interesting uses of soft control to get more out of the single preset. Now I need to program some presets on the midi controller for control.
If by Ladder filter you mean the Artifakt? If so, then yes it's a REALLY good overdrive. It can do fuzz, as long as it's OverDrive fuzz. It can't do the square wave / triangle wave, multiwave and spluttery single diode clipping types of fuzz. But as an overdive goes, it's one of the best I've used. It's slightly better than the overdrive in the Aftershock.
Technically the ladder filter on the knob is a combination of more than one effect engines, but the software/firmware ladder filter engine by itself is not overdriven per se . The ladder filter preset via the knobs has actually 4 engines engaged. Distortion using a Smooth Diode type, ladder filter which is analogous to the filter control of subtractive synths, the envelope generator and the LFO (which cannot be really disengaged). On the C4, the filter section has more options. I do not even know that the Artifakt ladder filter types is (4 pole, or 2 pole and how many DB / Octave) but it is definitely a low pass filter. The envelope generator module on the Artifakt takes it from different sources but not sure if it is a full ADSR and if it is VCF or VCA driven maybe it is a case to case basis. You do not have control like on a traditional envelope generator. Very musical though and easy to use

I'm clearly out of my depth here. An example, is that I didn't even use a snip tool on the studio computer to attach to my comment here. As far as I can tell, I'm literally just using the ladder filter section. At least that's all that's on as far as neuro is concerned. With it alone, I'm getting a fantastic fuzz sound that I've not heard from any dirt pedal. I'm a technician by trade, and usually curious to enough to ask "how'd they do that?!" But in this, case I'm just as happy to call it black magic and enjoy it.

This sometimes happens that the app is not communicating with the pedal. But if it's only the Ladder engaged, look at where the Destruct knob is mapped tpp. It should be the Distortion drive. If you disengage the destruct mixer, moving the destruct knob should NOT increase/decrease the fuzz effect, if it does then you should see the drive increase or decrease as well. Try restarting the pedal. The ladder filter by itself does not make a fuzz sound but just an envelope mutron type effect. Depending on where the resonant peak is, it may overdrive your preamp, but by itself it does not.

Apparently a Marshall Guv'nor was being used (before going all secretive from the 2nd album on) as overdrive/distortion.
I checked the factory preset by Nate N. but I think the DG-like high end does not do justice.
Anyone?

Aftershock + EQ2 (or Ultrawave alone) could replace all of the other preamp pedals easily

The Tech21 Q/Strip is my "always on" main preamp DI. The Empress takes care of swtching basses.
The VTBass is my pick sound and the EQ2 does more subtle specialty things. This way I won't need any midi switcher.
I love it for bass as the Bit crusher side gets some awesome OD style tones. Really goes one further than the Ultrawave which i liked for the bit crusher. Super easy to dial in a very wide range of tones by twiddling a couple of knobs and using the filter, then of course the clean blend.
So my Mvave chocolate plus came today - and as is usually the case, there are issues (with my C4, I think) 
When it's set in "PC" mode, it goes through the presets brilliantly, with 0-3 corresponding to 1-4 on the pedal and so on...
Issue is, for some reason number 4 and a couple of other random number presets seem to bypass the pedal when they switch the preset. The controller DOESN'T do this to my ultrawave though and pocket midi also does the same thing to the C4 from my computer. Any ideas anyone?

Preset recall engage/bypass state is saved per preset. Edit the preset to be in whatever state you want it to be recalled in and re-save it.So my Mvave chocolate plus came today - and as is usually the case, there are issues (with my C4, I think)

Can't believe I didn't notice this... nailed it! I find the tap tempo a little temperamental, but going to reset and see if that helps
