A couple of pages back someone mentioned using a doremidi usb midi host. I bought the version that comes with a usb hub and midi in out. My cuvave chocolate midi controller is usb midi and I was planning to plug my c4, my ultrawave and the controller unto the hub.

The problem is that it will only communicate from midi to USB and from USB to midi. It won't route midi from one USB port to the other.

I could have fixed by switching the cuvave chocolate's wireless dongle to a midi one but I decided if I need to do that then I might as well go all in. I returned the doremidi umh-21 and ordered a neuro hub.

So while the doremidi umh-21 is a good Neuro hub alternative, I thought I'd let everyone know that the hosted usb devices can only send and receive through the midi port.

The Neuro Hub needs a MIDI controller to do the patch/scene changes. Does it work with the Neuro 3 already?

the doremidi FC-3 does forward it's USB hosted device's midi to the MIDI out jack, + sends PC to change the hub. i have a midi fighter twister controlling C4 parameters via FC-3 -> Neuro Hub -> C4's midi channel

My problem is that my controller and pedals are all midi. I was hoping the hub that comes with the doremidi umh-21 would allow USB to USB control but no luck.

I've been talking to someone at doremidi to try to convince them to update it but who knows if they can.

no usb-usb! i had planned to move to the umh-21 to do just that, good to know. well a neuro hub in between is still the move for me then.

I have done bass recordings using only the default presets without messing with the editor and will probably thrown that in SoundCloud. Last Saturday in a small gig, after the glitch preset took a life of it's own after I played with it during my solo. The drummers lit up and (yeah an ensemble with 2 drummers ) interacted with it in an answer and call fashion. No recording unfortunately.

Hey all, can anyone give me a bit of help with programming my pedal board? I haven't needed to do this in a while but I have an upcoming gig and need some new patches.

I had reset my computer a few months ago so now I had to download Neuro again and got the latest version. I have the following setup for my pedal board:
  • C4
  • Aftershock
  • Lunar Phaser
  • Vertigo Tremolo
  • Nemesis Delay
These are all connected to 1 hub. I have the hub currently connected to my computer via the USB port. I also have a Soleman connected via midi to the hub to cycle through my scenes.

With the newly updated software, I am able to go in and see all of my previously made patches. I can also load up a new scene and save that to a new spot just fine. I even see the new pactches when cycling through the Soleman after saving.

I seem to be having weird issues though. For example, I have a patch with a delay I just made and I have it loaded up on my computer. If I make a small adjustment on the physical pedal and then click "read" on the patch under the Nemesis delay, the settings on the computer should updated accordingly right? For some reason, doing this doesn't do anything and then when I click the engaged button to turn off the pedal and turn it back on, when it turns back on the settings are way different and not at all what I had programmed.

Another issue, I just programmed this patch and saved it which has all of the pedals engaged on the patch but when I get to it on the soleman, only 3 of the 5 pedals are engaged.

Is there something simple I am forgetting to do or should I just try going back to the older Neuro software?

Has my (beloved) Collider died?

I think my Collider may have given up the ghost but thought I'd check here first to see if anyone here had previously run into a problem. I've stopped getting any wet output - dry signal comes through fine. I've tried changing and testing each hardware routing option (I'm going mono), and done a full factory reset. Anyone run across this and found a solution? It may just be hardware failure.

Help!

SA newbie.

Needing a chorus pedal for a particular gig. Asked for recommendations on TB. Ended up buying a used Lunar pedal from a GC. They had no Gemini's at the time. I figured withe the Neuro app I could get the chorus downloads. It arrived with no 1/4" to mini plug TRS cable. Bought one from SA.

Ended up downloading the IOS app. The pedal syncs up but Im unable to access any of the sounds. In the instructional video the guy is just scrolling through and the effects are changing etc. The tiny light at the top of the pedal blinks every time he scrolls to a new sound. That's not happening with me. The Lunar in and of itself sounds wonderful and I can almost approximate a chorus sound. But having access to all that is available through the Neuro portal would be wonderful.

Im using a 9v adaptor off of my Kioks 7.

I've tried burning the sounds to the 3 way toggle with no luck.

And it's not changing to the effects on the app.

ANY help would be appreciate.
