SA newbie.

Needing a chorus pedal for a particular gig. Asked for recommendations on TB. Ended up buying a used Lunar pedal from a GC. They had no Gemini's at the time. I figured withe the Neuro app I could get the chorus downloads. It arrived with no 1/4" to mini plug TRS cable. Bought one from SA.

Ended up downloading the IOS app. The pedal syncs up but Im unable to access any of the sounds. In the instructional video the guy is just scrolling through and the effects are changing etc. The tiny light at the top of the pedal blinks every time he scrolls to a new sound. That's not happening with me. The Lunar in and of itself sounds wonderful and I can almost approximate a chorus sound. But having access to all that is available through the Neuro portal would be wonderful.

Im using a 9v adaptor off of my Kioks 7.

I've tried burning the sounds to the 3 way toggle with no luck.

And it's not changing to the effects on the app.

ANY help would be appreciate.

Hey Kenny,
Sorry to see youre having trouble. Is the problem you're having occurring with all Lunar community/factory presets, or is it just happening on mercury and gemini presets?

Another thing to check if you have the resources; the Lunar can connect to a desktop via USB Mini cable which supports two-way communication between the Neuro app and the pedal. Can you let us know if it's working in this manner?

Yes! I got screwed up using the wrong cable one time.

Thanks for the reply.

It's happening on the Lunar and Gemini settings.

I haven't tried any other pedals via the Neuro app.

I'll see if I have the appropriate cable to hook up the Lunar to my laptop.

Quick question on the desktop app that someone (@Rsmith89 )can prob answer for me. I downloaded the Neuro 3 desktop from here: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

The folder that it loads to my computer does not have the actual Neuro app, just a dsp and firmware folder. Where do I get the actual app? I can see 0.8.86, but not the 3.x.x

Did you download the correct version for your desktop (Mac or windows)? Did you scroll down to 3.0.21 and click the icons for the respective type?

So, after a break from SA... I just bought a used Spectrum (3rd one) and played it last night. Gotta say that after playing around with a lot of analog phasers and octavers the past year, I reminded of how good the ones on the Spectrum are. I just downloaded two pre-practice last night and they were pretty good without any tweaking. I'll def get more into fine tuning this weekend. Same with the envelopes-- I actually couldn't get it to work how I wanted last night, but I'll get there pretty quickly.

I downloaded/updated to the latest Neuro 3 on my phone and PC and was able to mess with the Artifakt a little a couple days ago. It felt nice to have everything working again. I actually got hella frustrated for a min. I was attempting to work with the "first" artifakt that I added as a "my pedal" and nothing was working. I've come to realize in the short handful of years since I haven't used effects that much, my patience for troubleshooting is short! haha But once I deleted the "first" artifakt I had on there and added a new one, it was good to go.

Now I just have to work out what I want my first 4 presets to be and how I want to utilize the artifakt. So many sounds in there!

Is there a way to choose internal predal presets when accessing a pedal through the Hub? It would be much easier to create Scenes if I could select internal presets from the C4, for example.

C4 works with cc103 (recall bypassed) and cc104 (recall active), followed by a value representing the preset you want to load. Pedals older than the c4 won’t support this.

Hi Gibs210 - that's not exactly what I'm asking. Let me try restating - When I'm in the Neuro App and am editing a pedal in a scene, is there a way to select the internal presets of that pedal from within the editor? It would be very easy/handy to be able to build a scene by selecting your pedals and selecting individual presets from each individual pedal.

The Hub was created/defined before Neuro and our small pedals had two presets. The focus was on pressing the SAVE button and not on creating Scenes within an editor. Many of you started very early with the Hub, so we have chosen to let it evolve and continue to support it, rather than starting all over. Migrating the Hub manager software from stand-alone to N2 and now to N3 and also having the Hub support pedals that went from 20 parameters (Soundblox 2) to 600 (C4) has been (within our design process) insanely complicated. (Artifakt and Ultrawaves have more than 1000 parameters and are saved on the Hub via presets).

@Gibs210 should comment, but I don't believe there is a concept for adding "pedal presets" to Hub scenes. Much of this stems from the fact that the Hub needs to support pedals (pre-C4) that do not have 128 presets. With that said, the Artifakt and Ultrawaves DO need to have presets as part of the scene, because the number or parameters exceeds what the Hub can save per pedal. I have not used N3 with the Hub, so I am not up to speed on this aspect. @Gibs210 knows this much better than I do.

No. You would need to connect separately to each pedal if your editing pedal presets, hub does not directly access pedal presets. You can manually load the preset on the pedal using the earlier mentioned method, or the first 6, 8, or 16 presets (small 1 switch, large 2 switch, small 2 switch pedals respectively, eq2 the exception with 8 and 1 switch), and then read pedals info from the app to see what the pedal is set to. A psuedo way to access internal presets while using the hub.

I dont think that is what he asking. Is it possible to add a preset to a scene from within the scene editor? For example, I want to add preset location 020 on the C4 to scene 004. I know I can do this by calling up that preset on the C4, sending 004 to the Hub, making sure all the other things are right from the scene on the other pedals, and then pressing SAVE on the Hub, but is there a faster way?
