Hi hive,
I just downloaded Neuro version 3.0.23 onto my computer and connected my Artifakt via Usb-C to Usb-C and it's not showing up. I can't remember if this was discussed? I cannot find my Usb-A to Usb-C cable, hence my post. Should this be possible? For reference, it also doesn't show up on my updated Android Neuro version. It did a few months ago, but I don't remember if I still had my OG cable.
This is a really complex bug. Sending email.

Do you already have an Artifakt added as a pedal? Or you don't see it like at all?

I had to delete the Artifakt from my "my pedals" and readd it for it to work/register itself...

I had thought it was the pedal ID issue (which is rare), but I think it might be the USB-C cable issue (which is also rare). I sent you email.

SOLEMAN Updated (1.10 file on site, after update says 1.08 on Soleman same as the file download?)

Restored factory settings.

Soleman Editor seems to be on point...

(Will check SA161 D.E.P. calibration next week.)

Neuro seems to have a problem launching on my Windows 10 after first "partial" launch??

Neuro phone app seems to be working well....

(Sweetwater information says Soleman EXPANSION Port is for another two footswitchs, but didn't see anything like that on the editor OR in the global settings menu?)

Keeps life interesting...

Just got my Zio Bass from Reverb after waiting an eternity for FedEx to deliver... and have even more disappointment.

I am not getting any sound from it, bypassed or not. Have tried multiple basses, multiple cables, and the included power cable and my pedalboard power supply. I've fiddled with the gain control on the side, too, and didn't create any kind of effect.

Any ideas? Otherwise it sounds like I got a dud and have to go through the nightmare of returning and getting a refund. Sucks because I needed a DI!

We are here for you!! That is very strange. Please send a note to [email protected]

I got it in an open box deal, not from SA, so not sure if they could help me, just wanted to ask you wizards to see if i'm missing anything obvious!
If the lights on, your cables are good, the amp is fine and if your Bass is otherwise functional. Cables are going IN & OUT in proper order and the volume is turned up and no sound...the pedal has a problem.

If Sweetwater sold it to you just contact them and the problem will be solved...

SA is the MOST HELPFUL company so don't rely on second hand information that no one can see and talk to the tech support...no one is going to send you a bill to talk to tech support...SA supports their products!

Using EQ2 & Atlas Compression for Upright Bass: Can someone please point me in the direction of, or briefly explain, how to approach setting a decent eq and/or compression for an upright bass? I have the eq set to roll off at 40hz, but that's about it.

Can the EQ2 be used as an A/B box? I've tried with no success. I want to put an electric bass through Input 1, put my upright through Input 2, eq each Input separately, and then use the presets to A/B between the basses making the other Input mute. I tried but the Input 2 bled through somehow and I was getting feedback from the upright. I've tried several configurations, like muting Inputs, but I can't figure it out. I ended up buying a Boss LS-2 to get the job done.

Not specific to SA gear, but my philosophy for upright is to make it sound as natural as possible.

That means light, low ratio compression. The attack and quicker decay of an upright are a big part of what give it its signature sound and differentiate it from a bass guitar. Running a pickup into heavy compression can obscure these envelope characteristics and make it sound like a huge fretless plank. It's actually kind of a cool sound but rarely what I'm looking for...

EQ wise, aside from dropping problematic feedback frequencies I'd be looking to make the pickup sound as much like the bass as I could. With my pickup that would probably mean cutting some mids. YMMV on that one.

Questions for the collective. I would like to run my Spectrum with one in and two outs, and have out two be a clean signal straight through from my Humboldt DE. I would run all the effects to out one and sum them back down through a JHS Summing Amp into a tuner to a Broughton Messenger Jr., which would then go to my live rig or DI out to FOH.
Question 1. Is this even possible? 2. Is this even necessary? 3. Would I gain anything by doing this?
Thanks in advance!
J!

Yes; you can make that happen.

You need to review the manual and have Nuero 3 Editor open to do some pan/mix selections.

It will give you a wet/"dry" stereo output for your processing.

Thank you so much! Now I have a starting point. I also envision a drive setting with a high pass going to the clean signal, and drive going to just the lows.
