Is there an option to run a HP or LP after the distortion engine?
You could use the different types of filters in the C4 for this though and try and dial in your sound cutting the low or high frequencies. (Distortion + Filter setting)

Is there an option to run a HP or LP after the distortion engine?
I remember early on with my Gen3, using a MIDI Box4, and going out using the neuro cable (TRS 1/4" to trs 1/8"), and that worked. One more question, does anyone know if this cable Invalid Link Removed
will work for a DMC Micro Pro Gen4 to my Spectrum?
Thanks,
J!
@PhatBottomBass1, Thanks for responding, and sorry for the delay getting back. Are you using Nuero Editor to setup a mute with a footswitch function?
Are you using two different Compressors with Atlas or just different settings of the same compressor on #1 & #2 channel?
Are you using a midi controller?
Thanks @IronSpatula! I'll keep it really simple with the compression then. Not specific to SA gear, but my philosophy for upright is to make it sound as natural as possible.
That means light, low ratio compression. The attack and quicker decay of an upright are a big part of what give it its signature sound and differentiate it from a bass guitar. Running a pickup into heavy compression can obscure these envelope characteristics and make it sound like a huge fretless plank. It's actually kind of a cool sound but rarely what I'm looking for...
EQ wise, aside from dropping problematic feedback frequencies I'd be looking to make the pickup sound as much like the bass as I could. With my pickup that would probably mean cutting some mids. YMMV on that one.
Let's forward this to SA...@PhatBottomBass1, Thanks for responding, and sorry for the delay getting back.

If you mean create a dedicated preset that would be a mute, no, I have not. That’s a very good idea.

That’s correct, using the same compressor settings for both channels (for now). I can tweak that later, but could use some advice on that as well.
Are you using a midi controller?
No.
This is what I tried: in the I/O Routing Menu set for Auto Detect (I’ve attached pis):
Preset 1 (for electric): in the I/O Routing Menu, under Invert Channel Phase I muted Input 2.
Preset 2. (For upright): in the I/O Routing Menu, under Invert Channel Phase I muted Input 1.
Deleted app, reinstalled and it works again!I just went back to the app in iOS, it must have updated the app and logged me out - won’t log back in now, just sits spinning on the login screen - is this common?
Worked like a charm! I finally have the OD sound I’ve been searching for, for decades! Thank you!You could use the different types of filters in the C4 for this though and try and dial in your sound cutting the low or high frequencies. (Distortion + Filter setting)
I have also found that occasionally I have to unplug everything and start over again when running multiple devices or editing programs [3 I use regularly areDeleted app, reinstalled and it works again!
There is a reason there are like 4,000 community presets for the C4. It is not a paper weight. Sometimes its only a small thing that is not being done correctly. Communicating with us directly should resolve everything. The Desktop Editor is always going to be easier than the mobile app for anything complicated. FYISo I purchased a used C4. I updated the pedal, installed the Nuero App and dialed in a ridiculously cool Oct,gated fuzz, triple peak(4) sound.
I save the preset to the pedal and... the gated fuzz mix knob isn't on the setting that I want to save. Ugh!
I contact SA and so far we haven't been able to figure out the issue.
Honestly I'm super frustrated. I think I bought a $250 paper weight.
Not sure if it’s protocol or not, but I always save a patch I like to my Library, edit it there, and then save it to my pedal.I've been using the desk top editor. It's not saving the preset correctly. I've been in contact with David. It hasn't solved anything.
So correct me if I'm wrong. If I dial in a sound and it sounds good I should be able to save that sound, correct?

As soon as I get a chance I will try that. Not sure if it’s protocol or not, but I always save a patch I like to my Library, edit it there, and then save it to my pedal.
Please correct me if this is wrong.
You have to both save the preset into the cloud and burn it to a slot in your pedal. Each time you make changes you have to reburn the patch. So I purchased a used C4. I updated the pedal, installed the Nuero App and dialed in a ridiculously cool Oct,gated fuzz, triple peak(4) sound.
