Hej
Very happy newsih Aftershock owner here.

What is the closest Aftershock distortion engine to Sansamp BDDIv2?

Also in theory if I have a Boss LS-2 and I set Right/Left engines differently, I can in theory double the presets right? Or would that cause issues with volume etc?

You can. This is how I used mine when I first got one (before I bought a Soundblox Hub). You can trim the levels within the app to balance the two channels or trim them via the LS-2.

Thanks! I thought one of my C4 presets might've been more likely but I guess most of those are very bass-focussed so not suitable for the general demos of the Soundcheck rollout.
I just realized that one of the top Artifakt presets was built off one of yours!

Just did a clean install of windows and now I can not get Neuro 3 to load at all. Any tips. I thought someone had this problem before but it was due to previous installs. This is a clean system
That's very strange. Can you please report this to [email protected] and tell what is happening? Thanks!!

Could it be that you also need to reinstall some of the optional windows components before it'll work? For instance the .NET Framework. I seem to recall having to install that separately in order to run things like Sibelius in the past.

@rsmith601 who played/wrote the "acoustic" sample in Soundcheck? It's really lovely. Is it part of a bigger piece of music or just a little idea? If the latter, it's crying out to be developed.

Sounds really good with the C4 Poly Pitch Swell patch by Thymecop (is that Jeff or Jesse's handle, I can't recall).

Thymecop is Jesse. Jeff is TheLuckyJackson. :)
We started off recording the clips in house, and some of those remain. Then, Jeff started sifting through and trying stock sounds clips found on line. The original acoustic we did in house and it was never great. This is a stock one and it's awesome.
This is why I tell everyone that uploading your own clips is not as easy and rewarding as you think it's going to be when it comes to browsing presets. Stock clips and very effective. Did not see that in the beginning.

The Aftershock seems like the closest thing I've heard to Tim Commerford's tone in a box. What can you do with it with an expression pedal?
Others should comment on this but certainly the master drive level can be controlled via expression. It is also possible to map expression to control the range of a knob. It is not quite as flexible and configurable as some other pedals, but there is still lots that can be done.

I'm struggling a little with SoundCheck on the iPhone in neuro 3. I navigate to Spectrum, and I can play the first preset, Gated Phaser, on the different sound samples, but the other presets listed, I can't change the sample being played back. What am I doing wrong?

Just took a spin through the sounds of the True Spring. Lots of them sound good with bass!
One feature I think would be welcome to add to sound check is (optionally) to make the currently-selected clip "sticky": I'd like to be able to audition different presets but use the same clip each time, without having to keep selecting it. (Currently, for the most part, a new clip gets load each time one selects a new preset.) Can this be done?

I asked for this the first day I tested SoundCheck about 8 months ago. Haven't got it yet! :)
