If my $25 M-Vave chocolate can access all 6 presets, I have to say that I’d be slightly surprised that your fancy-pants Boss controller can’t.

I would think that even if you can’t send PC 0, you would still have access to PC 1 - PC 5.

I paired the Spectrum with the new mxr Bass Synth last night. Great combo, they work very well together!! Bass Synth factory preset 2 or 3 going into the Ginuwine Pony preset on the Spectrum = spectacular!

I feel like buying a Spectrum - just for the look of it! How does it pair with the Mothership Control (C4)? Do you use them together? In parallel? Independently?

I use them independently, each have their strengths and foibles, this setup gives me 12 sounds to annoy my bandmates. I appreciate the different ways they can create sounds and textures. Spectrum is very easy for dialing in octaver, dirt and envelope sounds which is mostly what folks use for "bass synth" duties. C4 adds harmony and synth options I will sometimes add the BassBalls+ to a sound from the Mothership or Spectrum for more burble and squank.
I am in the process of dialing in some Bassballs sounds that include different dirt options and will publish once finished for Mothership and Spectrum.

What is this "mothership control" thing? A re-skinned C4?

It is indeed a C4 that has a sticker applied. @MatBassMelb kindly sent me a couple from the land down under.

You're too kind. I really do know that I suck so it's nice to hear. I only know about 4 shapes and you're gonna get all 3 of 'em!!! Baby steps. Just start counting - and since you're on TB I know you can count or you'd be fired as a bassplayer... or more accurately not hired. Haha. Get the cheapest DITTO or DITTO+ and work w/ 4/4 time signature at a slower BPM. The rest will come naturally. Just have fun.

I decided to scrap my kitchen table and put my gear in there since I'm too poor to eat anyway. LOL. Warm light is from my stove light. Blue light is from the window.

I'm interested in using a USB hub to hook up my C4 and Ultrawave into either my android or iPad. Preferably small enough to live under my board. I would think it would need to be powered for long gigs. Anyone successfully using one with the Neuro app to see/change presets?

That's what I do, on android. For me it's a 2-part system : powered OTG adapter (will power the hub downstream AND charge phone) into USB hub. Some hubs and/or usb power supplies cause bizarre noise to travel between the pedals, like if a ground loop and a fax machine had a baby. I tried USB Isolators for that and they work but they don't play nice with the software all the time. Current setup is stable and free of noise monsters for a few weeks now. I can DM AmZn links if you like but I'd prefer not to post them here, maybe these can be found elsewhere:

OTG: can be used w/o extra hub for up to 3 devices, if using with a hub plug into the USB 3 port to apply power downstream.
BENFEI USB C HUB 6in1 (1 USB C host port, 2x usb2.0, 1x usb3, ethernet, hdmi, < 100w usb C PD charging)

Hub: I tried a lot of these, this one has been working well for weeks now.
Atolla USB 3.0 hub, atolla 7-Port Multi USB Aluminum hub

something else to consider is you'll probably need short right-angle USB Extensions to get those USBs plugged in under the board. I'm up to 6 usbs and find I need different angles depending on placement
