Everyone does something different, but I prefer to put distortion before filter. Distortion can kind of put a blanket of sound over the filter sweeps if it's the other way around.

By the way, let me know if you want me to write out any of the bass lines!

By the way if I do plan on getting a BEF (not pro) can I still daisy chain it to use the hot hand on both my MWBD pro and BEF? Or does that only work if both pedals are pro?

Yes you can. The MWBD Pro has a sensor in AND a sensor out. The BEF has only a sensor in.

So long as one is a Pro, you can daisy chain!

I'm pondering the EQ for a specific application. For a lot of my gigs I swap between a Rob Allen and my "regular" basses. The RA has a ton of low end and I can tweak that on the instrument as it has a 2-band eq, but I like to give it a mid boost. I've been using a Paradriver but I don't use the DI on it or the overdrive (hate it) - just the eq section. I'd love to get some board space back as well. Basically I figure I'd set up a patch for the RA and just click in/out. I could presumably dial up other patches for the Fodera but I've got 3-band there, and have other pedals where I can get a clean boost if need be.

Sounds like the application would be right up your ally!

Is the development of a pedal that uses the hothand an impingement of your copyright?

What makes me laugh about asking this question is that I so know you guys could do things so much better.

We do have some key patents which protect our investment in Hot Hand. Developing Hot Hand was VERY EXPENSIVE and it will take many years for us to make that money back.

Yes, we can do much better. You are right! We will have a new version of the Wireless Hot Hand coming out in June. It will not only work with our stuff, but it will have an EXPRESSION output as well so it will work with other pedals.

The new one will support 3 axis motion control (current one is 2 axis).

We are also working on a USB version.

Please tell me other ways that we can make Hot Hand better!!

Eeeeek. I can see how what I said could be taken in the wrong way. Sorry, I did not mean that you could do a lot better. You have a good product!!!

I meant you could probably produce what I am thinking about in a much better way.

Actually I was not asking about how to make a hothand, I was asking if a pedal is designed that uses a your hothand technology (i.e. you attach a hothand to it) is this impinging on your copyright.

I hope that is clearer, I dont want to start picking on how the hothand has been made.
