After months and months of waiting, I can finally get a number!!! Just ordered my BEF Pro and HH3! :hyper::hyper::hyper: Now I just have to wait for shipping :bassist:

In the end, I am glad I had to wait so long because when I initially wanted to buy, the HH3 wasn't finished yet.

P.S. - Kudos to Invalid Link Removed for having the best prices I could find, and free shipping!

Updated! #111

If you wanted to have the ability to use both a standard expression pedal and a HH3 for control of a pedal, could you use a standard A/B box to select between them?

I am doing that very thing!
It's an awesome option.
I am using my HH3 or Exp Pedal to control my Xerograph.
I just made up an A/B box, with stereo (TRS) sockets of course for my needs.

Easy build, I am a novice at electronics.
1x enclosure
3x TRS sockets
1x DPDT footswitch
length of 20-24AWG wire
Solder and an iron.

I will post a pic later as I have to do some fiddling with my pedal board.

Hey Will, could you change my HH to HH3 please.

Great work on the HH3 :D

I hit a studio for a few hours last night after a party and took a few pedals, off top of my aching head and not running order;

BEF Pro
MWD Pro
Dual Ex Pedal
HH3
Fuzzrocious GS
Fuzzrocious BDPG
Subdecay Echobox
Boss PS-5

The producer has been using various VST's / Plug-ins for his bass sounds, but was blown away by the HH3, MWD Pro and BEF Pro. He explained what this could mean to a producer / DJ and how much more fun it was using the Hot Hand than moving his mouse (computer).

We spent 4 hours putting the set-up through the bass, an old hammond organ, synth and then into various VST's..and then the amp blew :bassist: but has to be one of the best musical nights I've have.

Should have some recording in the next few months :hyper:

After hearing ever so much about Source Audio's bass friendly approach to the pedal world I happened to walk into an instrument shop looking for a delay pedal while travelling.

The guys didnt have much on them that was bass friendly and suggested I try the Dimension Reverb. Being a reverb lover, Ive been wanting to get my hands on an Eventide rack for quite some time or one of their pedals at the least (their plugins are great too but nothing beats hardware IMO). Cutting the story short I gave it a run, liked what I heard and decided to grab one for myself asking them for a new one and not a demo unit.

Since getting back home from travels I've plugged it in twice so far (different electrical sockets, guitar cables, and amps used each time), and I get nothing besides dead silence and the original bass signal. The lights are on which make the scenario even more frustrating/irritating/anti-climactic.

Furthermore theres a healthy sized font at the back stating 'Made in China' thats next to a Quality control inspection sticker. And the screws are not even screwed in all the way through... Wow... Regret.

Have written to them for help, lets see what I get as a response.

I had a similar problem (lights on, no fx coming out) in the middle of a gig this weekend. Turns out it was just a matter of 'rebooting' it by cycling the power connection. I think it happened because my wireless had issued and i was hot-plugging directly into it swapping basses. Sound like you may have a bad unit.

You are getting a direct response from the president of the company.

Please send a PM to itswac or to [email protected]. We will be sure that you are up and running and satisfied. It is odd that a retailer would not have our bass products. Can you say which store?

I think he meant the store he was at didn't have may 'bass friendly' fx pedals, not specifically didn't have SA Pedals.

But since you are surprised, I have to ask why aren't you guys in Guitar Center? I've had to study this forum and take some pretty big leaps of faith getting my Classic Pro and BEF Pro without being able to demo them. That said, this post alone has been a huge help, but without it I'd not have known about the backpage goodies added to the Classic Pro.

rsmith601 I appreciate your direct involvement in my issue, I had already sent two mails across via sourceaudio.net's 'contact us' section yesterday explaining both issues alongside pictures for evidence and purchase/store information.

Gadgetjunky is correct, what I meant is that the store didnt have many 'bass friendly' pedals. Do note their SourceAudio stock was pretty adequate, they were a warm and accommodating bunch of folk - I'd put them in the top tier (in Bangkok, Thailand where the purchase was made) when it comes to atmosphere, approachability, helpfulness and good service, and just nice down to earth people. Invalid Link Removed is their website.

Seeing that I've already written a couple of mails (and dont have saved copies) via the SourceAudio website, would you still need for me to get in touch with itswac or the email address that you've provided?

This is an interesting question.

In general, Guitar Center will only carry the most high-volume well-established brands and pedals. Boss, Digitech, Line 6, MXR, and E-H are the best examples. They see Source Audio as not being as big and established as the other brands yet. They now have a "boutique" shop for pedals in some stores, but we are not quite retro and boutique. We will be in GC some day, but it will take time. Hope this makes sense.

Got it! Sorry for the delay. It is a holiday in the USA today, so that is why we did not respond yet. Strings has been a very good dealer for us, and we will work with you and with them to help resolve any issues.

Aah I see. I guess I'll just need to wait a bit longer then.

They do have a nice collection of stuff. I got good service, and that played a big factor in my going back there a few days later to pick up an amp for myself.

Just very disappointing to get a bad unit and the fact that I've left now makes things a lot trickier ...
