Source Audio UltraWave ~ Catch the Wave

It's possible to morph the EQ, right?[/QUOTE

It is yeh and this is how you do it. I have got confused going round the houses so to speak using the parametric EQs only. Thought it would be good to be able to turn the graphic on or off but you can do this by switching the morph on full or off. When i switch the graphic on it seems to darken my tone that's all but that can be adjusted with the sliders anyway.

Will be having a bash later using the morph to change one or both graphics i'll be using. Should get some interesting sounds for sure. Cheers

Would heartily recommend to go through the app patches for the non-bass Ultrawave.. There's some seriously kick ass patches there which are easy to adjust to bass by mixing in the clean. Wipes the floor with a lot of the patches on the bass version on the app. Really inspiring as to what this unit can achieve sonically going through them.

There's been a morphing discussion somewhere here or on TGP, and it got me looking at the app again. I'm currently using an old Bass Multiwave Distortion. We have a song where I need to switch between setting #4 in the chorus and #15 in the verse. Are the distortion options on the Ultra Wave numbered the same? If not, which would be the corresponding settings? If I'm reading the discussion properly, I can morph between them by putting them on different sides of the same preset. All I would need is a momentary switch to morph between them.

You can blend (using the balance control) between either channel and morph between settings on either channel. It's quite possible to have 4 distinct dirt sounds and blend / morph between all 4 in one single patch.

Aye. I'm talking about blending in the clean "dry" bass signal, though you raise a very good point. Being able to blend between 4 different sounds in one patch is really impressive.

I understand you and it would be so cool to be able to use a dual latching footswitch to morph between the 4. I'll look into it, though I'm not sure it will be possible. I've just messaged Saturn works effects to see if this could be done with one of their units.
No, the 1/8 port only supports a single footswitch signal when using the tap switch. Adding a second button won’t add any control.
