I love my Fifth Gear v1! That ATE v2 looks very tempting... Be so nice when switching between my Sadowsky and my fretless J or even for a nice boost before or after my OC-2 when soloing the octave.

If you have a Fifth Gear always on it's a no brainer.... it's even halfway to a V2 with gain (internal trim) and volume (x2), so you can dial it in a bit better than the originalI think the ATE v2 might replace my FG v1. I like the form factor of 125b better than the little 1590a, and it would help balance out my two basses. Or I'll us it to boost into my FG v2!
You're talking me into it. I could probably flip my Azure Drive as well, given that I primarily stack it with my 2 Fifth Gears and never use it on it's own.If you have a Fifth Gear always on it's a no brainer.... it's even halfway to a V2 with gain (internal trim) and volume (x2), so you can dial it in a bit better than the original
I can say from personal experience the rusty and fifth Gear pair very well.Just picked up a Fifth Gear V2 (#058) from a fellow TB'er ...
Haven't had a chance to test drive it yet but it should pair very nicely with my Rusty Box!!
Also, I've been reading up on everything Southampton in these here forums and I have a strong feeling I'll be picking up a few other SP treats in the very near future.
I wonder, since it's digital, if the Knife could get a second, momentary switch to cycle between the 4 effects. Less bending down to tweak knobs dontchaknow.
Mine goes well above unityLove the pedal's tone. That said, I wish the volume went to 11. I'm finding that the wet signal barely matches the dry signal.

If you take the pedal off your board and run it on its own, does it still do this? If so, what pickups are you using?Love the pedal's tone. That said, I wish the volume went to 11. I'm finding that the wet signal barely matches the dry signal.
Same for me....mine gets LOUD
DirtyDuke, any chance you know what setting is being used in that Larry Graham Jam clip you posted? That tone is killer
