Do you know if this was a factory finish? It seems like its an aftermarket refinish, it even looks like the one on the Simms page.

Dunno... That's what cetera says it is and he owns it...No such bass.
The LX's took over in 2004.
Here's something I thought I'd never say...
It looks like I might be trading for a Spector Mike Kroeger Signature 5 string. I've got somewhat mixed feelings about this. On one hand it is a 5 string Spector which is a good thing. On the other hand it's a guy's sig model of a band I don't care for.
If I end up digging this bass, I'm curious if I can cover the "M" inlay as I think it looks tacky. Love the double "S" at the 12th fret though.
If I don't dig it, anyone interested in buying it.![]()
The "M" inlay can stand for madbassplaya![]()

That's really awesome rockstar! Another night of "SPECTOR RULE"!Played a gig Sat night and was using Brownie. I had my Spector shirt on for the gig bc I already had it on from the day and it was going to be a truncated set for us anyway so I didn't dress too fancy...
After the show I had a guy come up and go "Hey are you endorsed by Spector??" I was like haha no but in my mind I am!My toane ruled as always.
Brownie-> Mesa M9-> Mesa PH212 cab![]()

Being that they've been over pricing them lately it doesn't surprise me.I agree. I dont think it has to do with the bass, It seems like noting is selling on ebay anymore.
Plus being the Holiday season...Man...I like the flame maple on that black stain!Ooooooo...Here's a good one.. 1988 NS-2.
Was owned by Mark Evans of AC-DC...
Original Fast Orange finish, Inc. the neck.

How do Spector's sound through the Ampeg Svt-3Pro's?
I've read some pretty bad things about this, but some pretty good things, too. I really want tubes, and these seem pretty affordable.
Thanks, Nate
If a SPECTOR bass sounds like crap via a certain amp... It's the amp. Especially tube amps, they have to be tuned... plate voltage, load, biasing, etc....
I might be biased, but....
