This is my old rig, Ampeg SVT. It is a "Skunkworks" SVT, limited edition #90 of 500 made. Sold it to the singer I play with still, I use the Cab (And the head when he has it working...) when I go home from time to time. I regret selling this amp all the time. The NS-2A through this amp (not in the picture, but I ran 2 8-10 cabs) was the best bass sound I ever had. I can't wait to hear my NS-4 through it this summer. Yup, that's me singing, good god, get that kid a bass!!

Man, spend the weekend with the kids away from a computer and the pages go by fast!

Alright, new thread pics, thought I would go old school when my NS-2A was new, these are around '92-'93 I guess...

How do you like that Goliath Sr. Trace? I really want to get one of those but they aren't cheap. Actually, I would love a Megoliath, but those are easily over a grand so that is a bit overkill just to use for my house :)

To be honest... I like the 8x10 (1084H) TE cab better (again, I may be biased)...:D
Which is why I have an FS/FT thread on it.:p
It may be just this one but, I do not like the banana plug connector for full range and the 1/4" is worse for power transfer. I do like the XLR connectors for that.
It sounds good, don't get me wrong.
It doesn't seem to like low volume (1-3) much, either. maybe just the wiring for 6 speakers instead of 4 or 8.

Seriously, if I did dig it and wanna keep it, would there be a way to cover it? Lol

Man, I wouldn't mess with trying to cover it up...if you hacked away at the fretboard like worship is talking about, you will never get any value back out of it. Same goes for if you colored over that inlay. If the inlay is going to bother you that much, I'd steer clear. There's always good deals to be had on Euro 5'ers, especially with tax time coming up and some people will be needing to pay the piper.

that's a good point.... is this the Legend MK-5-Pro version? I bet people wouldn't even notice it had the M until they were close..

Sad to say I was going to put the buy it now when I got home, too late. Its probably going to go over that. The seller is going to send me some other pics. He says its in storage now. I will only go up to $450.

I wonder why he took the BIN price off? did someone tell him it was worth more?....

I have a question. Has anybody purchased from spectorbass.com?? Purchased a couple stuff from there and I received all but one item even though the order form it came with has that item listed as being shipped. I emailed about it and made contact with someone who said they'd forward it to the people who manage the online store. After a few days I received nothing and emailed the person asking if there was any news about my issue. That was last week and I've had no contact with anybody since. Was just wondering if some people have had this issue.

When you ordered it, did you get an email confirmation of your order? If you did, see if the item is part of the order on the confirmation. Maybe the cart didn't update. I didn't have a problem when I ordered from them. Can't speak on the customer service of the store, but I would think, if I were them, pulling up the order confirmation would have been one of the first things I would've done to see if your items was on there or not, and it wouldn't have taken very long....

Because I placed a bid on it.

The blue NS2B listed has a BIN of a few bucks more then the BIN was on the black one. Its now listed for the 3rd time and hasnt had a bid on it yet so I figured I would bid on the black one and perhaps score my first Spector cheap. I can see thats not gonna happen.
