Honestly , other than a club SE, I really don't have SAS for anything else. The green one is all I want to play. That bass is bad a$$.

I agree with you fully about switching basses and the necks not feeling right. Rebop to Dougie I'm ok, go the other way and I'm missing strings! Lol. I wanna play an Ian hill now though. If you like that over mine, Damn....

Hey so how did the show go besides the crappy sound guy? Lol

Just a heads up to someone that might be selling a Euro Spector to fund the TB SE bass, I will be looking for another Euro 5 to go along with my Euro 5LX (either a Rebop or another LX) in the new year. Please PM me if you plan on selling your bass, I promise I'll take good care of it :hyper:

Rig and bass pics to come once I finally get to a computer, I can't post pics from my iPhone, it says my file size is too large.

I can't wait. I really wish I could afford the SE, I just think its gonna end up being too expensive for me at this point. Maybe I'll be able to scrape the funds together, I just can't wait to get my hands on another Spector! The only euro I've ever played is mine, otherwise I've only played the Legends.

Gotta remember too I think you need a deposit and then basically have build time to pay it off. That makes it a bit easier .

Spoke with PJ today about the SE pricing. He said with the special inlay it would take a little longer for the pricing as he needs to get with Larry Robinson for what he would charge. Hopefully by the end of the week we will have both the US and Czech pricing. I promise, as soon as I have something I'll let you guys know.

Cool! Thanks for the update! Would the inlay be the bass cleff talkbass symbol? That would be cool and kinda classy I think.

Trust me Lenny your is better. The other one just keeps the neck width the same as the ns2a's....One I switched from the dougy to the other basses it was hard to adjust...especially looking down the road when I was playing out....If not for that i would still have that bad boy...:bassist:..

I'm kidding. I'm already out. If I didn't buy it the other night I'll never buy it. I kept saying "but I already have one, but I already have one" in my head. That is probably a really nice bass.
I should put that money in a jar marked "spector club bass" and move on.

I wish Spector made more solid color Euros and US made ones. I know you can custom order ones but still....I seems like they could be a bit cheeper because the wood grain doesn't have to be as pretty and the grain in the wings doesn't have to match perfectly. The fancy wood is beautiful but I'm not a fancy or beautiful player. Also, I like how a solid color NS shows of the curves of the bass. Just a thought.

Hey Guys,
My new black cherry Euro 4LX came last week. Unbelievable! It must weigh a pound less than my last one and has even more flame on the front. Threaded screw inserts on the battery cover( I love that). I did my usual adjustments, tonepump down to about 50%, the neck was actually too straight. I had to put just a touch of relief in. Oh yeah I am psyched! This one will not get away! And if i told you the price I paid, you would beat me up.:D I haven't had a chance to take any photos of the new one but imagine this one( I stupidly sold it, anyone here have it? I sold it to a guy in Mass.) with even more flame, you get the idea...
