That caption was for the pic below, not above....:spit::D <-- raspberries ... not spitting. LOL.

Aaaaah...that's what happens when I try and play by the rules by massing multiple threads and delete some pics IAW Mr. Administrator Perry. :rollno: lol I don't mind your spitting Trace...I'm used to being slobbered on by my dog. ;)Lol
Hey Trace! I really enjoyed all those pics of SPECTORS that you dug up!
Thanks!!!:bassist::hyper:

RE: Thundar asks for Rig Pics....

Really niccccce rig Trace! :bassist: I've seen a few Trace rigs on the GC used bass amps/cabinets this weekend. I gave some thought about buying but the more other brand rigs that I play thru...the more that I know Ampeg & SPECTOR are my brands. :smug::bassist:

This is my old rig, Ampeg SVT. It is a "Skunkworks" SVT, limited edition #90 of 500 made. Sold it to the singer I play with still, I use the Cab (And the head when he has it working...) when I go home from time to time. I regret selling this amp all the time. The NS-2A through this amp (not in the picture, but I ran 2 8-10 cabs) was the best bass sound I ever had. I can't wait to hear my NS-4 through it this summer. Yup, that's me singing, good god, get that kid a bass!!

Those SVTs are DYNOMITE!!! How young we're you in that picture Chris, 19?!

Man, I wouldn't mess with trying to cover it up...if you hacked away at the fretboard like worship is talking about, you will never get any value back out of it. Same goes for if you colored over that inlay. If the inlay is going to bother you that much, I'd steer clear. There's always good deals to be had on Euro 5'ers, especially with tax time coming up and some people will be needing to pay the piper.

Buy some Redwood grain plastic tape, cut to size, stick it over the M on the 3rd fret. :D That way if you decide to sell it no mods to redo or have altered.

When you ordered it, did you get an email confirmation of your order? If you did, see if the item is part of the order on the confirmation. Maybe the cart didn't update. I didn't have a problem when I ordered from them. Can't speak on the customer service of the store, but I would think, if I were them, pulling up the order confirmation would have been one of the first things I would've done to see if your items was on there or not, and it wouldn't have taken very long....

Yes I received a confirmation email and it all checked out fine. I even double checked the email when the box arrived.

I have a question. Has anybody purchased from spectorbass.com?? Purchased a couple stuff from there and I received all but one item even though the order form it came with has that item listed as being shipped. I emailed about it and made contact with someone who said they'd forward it to the people who manage the online store. After a few days I received nothing and emailed the person asking if there was any news about my issue. That was last week and I've had no contact with anybody since. Was just wondering if some people have had this issue.

I've bought plenty from the SPECTOR store. Sometimes things get a bit slow but I always get what I ordered. Maybe due to NAMM just around the corner next month they could be maxed out right now.
