Here's a picture of my bass family.

Have a great Christmas, guys!

edit: the mirrors in my music room added an interesting effect to that pic.

That looks like a sweet little rig.. :bassist:

Thank you, it's what I use in my home office to practice on. I dropped an Eminence 3015 into the cab, it has way more xmax than the stock driver, which provides that phat, deep low end. I'd love to hear a pair set up like this.

Off topic, my son got a PS3 system for his 13th birthday yesterday. I set up his Playstation Network account today (not that he couldn't do it, it required an adult,) and the user ID is......SpectorEuro4LX!

I've got a '68 Sunn cabinet that has a 70's? 400w Gauss 5143 speaker loaded in it, it's a monster. Here's an awful picture with my backup amp:

Nice!
Me too!

Fender makes good bass amplification, it's just not in the lighter-is-better camp. This lead sled (32 pounds) sounds very nice.

There was some talk earlier about Orange gear, and although I haven't much experience with the amps, the cabs sound great. My OBC115 made an Aguilar GS115 I had sound like cardboard. I have an OBC410 as well, which is just thunderous, but I'm thinking of offing it to get a second 15.
Sweet!
Merry Christmas to all!
Hope Stuart, er I mean Santa sent you all what you wanted!!!!!!!!
:D
NOT YET... :( :crying:
Merry Christmas to everyone. :bassist:.

I hope everyone remembered to get their Spectors a gift, (a new set of strings possibly ;) :D )

I sure did! Gifted my SPECTOR the Deluxe DuPont cleaning/polish kit. :) a SPECTOR hat for me.

Okay guys, here's the clip. It turned out okay considering I did it at 3:00 AM last night and it was the first recording with my new mac, let me know what you guys think.

I plan on doing something in drop D later tonight, I'm not too sure what, it'll most likely be a little heavier though, that way I can really dig in and get the growl.

Very nice! Good job!

I'd love to provide them, but I need to take 21st Century Recording Techniques 101! I have a Fostex four track and a 57....do you have a cassette player? :hiding:

Nice Job!...I would just add a hair more bass in the mix.

First off.. Happy Holidays!

Secondly... How many of you have fretless Spectors? I've got time off from gigging... And I always wanted to learn to play fretless so I figured this next year I'd be my goal.

I've tried going down this path before but next had the time to get it "right"

Thinking about a fretless rebop.. But I really wanted a US Spector next year also... So maybe a fretless Legend?
