Very good thank you,
My black NS2a is in its case with no pickups or strings on it feeling neglected. LOL. buts thats OK she will have a fresh set of emgs in a week or so.
I can only compare this bass with some clips I recorded with my NS2a active/tonepump combo. The prototype has a active/USA haz combo. Both basses sound great. The prototypes tone is a bit "rounder" than the NS2a/tonepump. The prototype is a bit more pleasant to the ears where the NS2a/tonepump is a bit more "rude". There is a difference in wood which obviously would make a difference in tone.
I haven't emailed pj about this bass yet, but a NS2a prototype makes sense. It could be a NS2o prototype, maybe they considered making them in korea.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was a prototype for a model between the ns2a and ns2o. Because of the upgraded wood, upgraded tone circuit, and the schaller bridge is an a upgrade to the ns2a bridges. It's like an upgraded ns2a.
Another weird thing about this bass is it's 1.5" at the nut, like the wimbish model.
Part 25
Like zoiks!

Mine had the emg BT "active tone" setup. There's 2 dip switches in there that let you alter the EQ curve a bit. I put a pump and emg 35 p/j set in mine. It's pretty beast now. Doesnt get any play time with dougie around though.

send tracebassplayer a message, he'll take care of ya

I've been an unofficial Spector Club member for a month or so and I'd like to become official. Can a brotha get a numba? lol. Thanks in advance.
God bless,

Couple of questions for y'all:
Why does it cost so much more to have black hardware on the NT models?
When it comes to finishes on a Euro NT model, can you get a matte neck finish and a glossy body finish? Or do they have to match?
JPS, any pics of a blue/black burst Spector?

I would assume because gold is std. on all but the rebops. You should be able to find someone to trade for gold as well. Gold seems to be a bit more popular. I like it a little better personally, makes it look classy.
I believe the finish has to be the same. The gloss finish on the neck doesn't get sticky like some do imo.
I'm not JP, but hope this helps. Blue fade euro.
