Iceboxbass is actually a good dude who has helped me out on multiple occasions.... He's just passionate about his strings. Can't fault him for that. So let's all just agree to disagree and get back to talking about spectors and tone pumps and slanted bridge designs that we do love to talk about.

lets talk about why your avatar isn't a spector... lol

My 5 string collection is coming together nicely. The blue NS-5XL arrived today and is in great condition.

It's like I made a certain LE bass collection all by myself. ;)

Wow Guy!!! I love that blue!!!!

"Friends don't let friends play rounds"
Gee...Is that quote able ??? :D

Yeah I guess that's why Spector sells flats and ships all their basses with flats. Oh no wait.....they do neither.

Oh well. You can always go to Guitar Center where they sell 50 different sets of flats and 2 sets of rounds. Oh no wait...I'm wrong again. I got that backwards.

You're just going to have to accept the fact that more people use rounds than flats. Face it.

Sorry for the re-post. I'm new to the picture attachment on this board and wanted to make it easier to see. But again:

Sorry for the camera phone picture quality. But you get the idea :)

....trying to figure out if you're really that ignorant, or if you're a troll....either way you don't belong in the Spector group.

And that's your opinion. I'm just trying to show those who started making negative comments last night about flats that it's their opinion, as they stated, as well as its mine and others that enjoy playing flats opinion that they sound better on our Spectors.

And sir...it's your opinion that I don't belong in this club and it's not up to you is it to do so.:eyebrow: I've been a standing Spector club member for 3 years thank you.

+1 Agreed! Thank you.

I'll vouch for ya as well. We've all gotten heated on one subject or another on here. I think flats v. Rounds with ice is like Spector bridges with phat. (hope that's a good comparison). Point is, we all participate here because we're passionate about bass and about spectors. IMO, saying someone doesn't belong here is pretty harsh. Ice has been on here a while, and has every right to continue to be on here.

And I play nickel rounds for what it's worth. Flats don't work for a lot of what I play, but I wouldnt mind keeping a bass equipped with them around for when I need that sound.

You're definitely entitled to your opinion that flats rule and rounds suck, just keep it to yourself. Nobody here cares.
