Wow...that NS-2O looks AMAZING.
I'd give a kidney to own one of those --it looks like its in great condition, too. Nice!
The rest of your collection is great, of course, I've just got a thing for those natural oiled ones.
I've got such bad GAS for one now..

This is actually a better shot of it. And kidneys are not required for this bass LOL I recently put in a brand new Hazlab 9V preamp so it sounds as good as it looks. I'm sure I'll thin out the heard one of these days. And always looking for a Brooklyn NS-2..

How does the NS-5XL compare to the Euro 5LX?

Played a show tonight with the spector, and an older musician friend of mine finally saw us play.

After the show he asked if i was playing a Spector because he used to have one back in the late 80's/early 90's
He said it was a 5-string, so by the website, wouldn't that have been an NS-5?

That rare, and he sold it over 10 years ago :crying:

Oh well it was a nice conversation anyways :D

How does the SSD NS4CR and Euro 4LX with the Haz compare in tone to the Brooklyn Spectors?

The fastest neck is the NS-20. Super easy to play and feels smooth as silk. The Euro 4LX is the thickest of the bunch but even that isn't too bad. The SSD 5 string is a LOAD though. Wow. Definitely my heaviest bass. But it sounds killer so I guess that's all that matters :)

Which one of your SPECTORS do you prefer? I love that custom green Wimbish btw. \m/

Very cool! Thank you :). The green Dougie is by far my fav. I've had 9 spectors over the years, besides my old NS2 the dougie is the best. It's got the tone and the growl but the thinner neck (1.5 at the nut) is what I fell in love with. It tightens up the string spacing a bit to exactly where I always wanted it. Love the quilt too. Killer collection ya got there!

Anyway, beautiful basses Guy. That blue one is drop dead gorgeous.

Ferno, welcome to the club. That is one serious collection.

Rounds. Flats. Flats. Rounds. Come on man the differences are what makes the world go round. Choice is good. If someone's choice isn't your thing that's cool. But let's not be harsh on each other for their choice.

It's all good bro. I'm still loving my axe fx. Yeah me and the family are FINALLY over being sick. That was the worst week of my life.

I still have those Spector/Wal comparison clips you sent me awhile back. You were right. Those Spectors ate the Wal for breakfast as far as tone goes. :)
