???...thats weird thats about the same sound I get with my ns2a's +streamliner 900 + and sans amp pedal at practice. I sounds like I'm playing with a pick even though its fingers...very trebly...I use it for a few songs, Alice in chains and Tool.

Yeah that was what were were finding currently. The bass boost on the bass comes in way lower than what you hear as "bass" In the mix. Run it at 0 or cut it if you need to. That has been working best on the Mic'd track. We ran a direct track but I didn't like the highs on it. We just Mic'd my svt with a beta 52. That was by far the best sounding mic we tried. Used an akg too but I didn't like the high end on it. Been hard to go easy on the guitars lol.

For me I had to keep the bass at 0 and focus on the tone of the mids and highs. It took a few tries, different mics etc. Found out string buzz was my friend lol, and to keep the bass very low. Not the best sounding but the Mic picks up things differently that we hear them. I try and steal a non mixed copy this thurs n post it .

Here is some Spector bass from my boy Robbie ......funny thing in the early 90's we played the same club (Deringers in Brockton) not in the same billing....We were an original band and they were a cover band...20yrs later they are original and were in a cover band, haha!!!

She is ok,
I have spoken to her on Facebook. She had to sell off her Spectors for the moment,
so she is sadly not a Spector owner at the moment.
But I m sure she will own one again soon.

Awesome gig this morning! I'm really becoming super comfortable with my Forte 4! In a couple particular songs they build up gradually and man when it hit the peak Lucy was snarling and a growling when I dug into the strings hard! Wish I'd had the camera going!

Hi guys, been playing with my new ns4 for a week and the difference of it to my warwicks thumb bass is heaven and hell. The neck is so much better and the weight is just right. However, I found that it is still not as easy as my alembic to play with probably because of shorter scale of the alembic. Do you guys have problem of switching the basses or just solely play Spector at all?
