I only had it out of the case for a few min playing a few runs and slapping...no amp to hear the tone unfortunately. :(

I will tell you just by picking it up and playing for no more than 5 min that this is by far the nicest bass I have ever owned...and maybe even one of the nicest, most comfortable basses I have ever played. (Carl Thompson's and Fodera's being the other two on that list)

...and WOW :eek: does the black stain on the flame maple look AMAZING in person!

I prefer the Dunlop too. But, I haven't changed any on my Spectors....hard to pay for one when the ones I have are fine-for now. The Dunlop is also much easier to come on and off and the strap doesn't tangle as easily.

I've done alot of heavy gigging the past few years and finally found a flaw, in the strap button, of all places...........Now time to find a flaw in dunlop, I guess....

Nice to see him mentioned again. I can't wait to hear what he does with that bass!

I ordered a 9 Volt Haz Circuit from Spector and it arrived today.

For any Forte owners, the Pot holes do not need to be made bigger then will accommodate the Haz Pots.

The circuit comes with a pre wired input jack and the wires connect to the post and get clipped in with a plastic top. (No soldering needed)
It also comes with new Knobs that fit the larger pot shafts.

I ran into a slight problem as I couldn’t get the 2 (Red) power wires into the post and I ended up breaking the post off the board. :hiding: :bawl:
But I was able to solder the 2 wires together into 1 and then I soldered it onto the board where the post broke off. :hyper: (all fixed)

So the my Forte it technically “Bypassed” just like me. :) :eek:
