The bass and treble pots came pre wired to the Tonepump from Spector and the two volume pots came in the box with the EMG's.

Check the clips at the pickups. I believe the little arrow on one side of the clip should be facing you. I had mine on backwards at first and they did the same type of thing.

I dont think the pump is bad, did you make sure it's not at 0 as well?

Yeah don't sweat it, we'll get ya taken care of here. Then you get to hear "the tone" it's a proud moment

check the diagram ( diag 1) here and note the little arrow on the clip.

Si. The neck, as it was, was a little too chunky for my small hand. The profile was changed to more of a "D" shape. Originally it was a very pronounced "C" shape. A bit baseball bat like. I know something like this can be very subjective, so I am very happy that Donny likes it.

I was just thinking the same! And that I could never capture the color in a picture. Worship got it from the jump. That is the true color of the bass.

I GOT IT. I have a beautiful NS20005 on its way to me. I had NO IDEA the Korean models came in this gorgeous color!!

Here is a pic from the sale, I hate black "sunburst" for its abrupt transition from black to orange, but this is a red to yellow burst with a nice smooth transition and just looks...awesome.

Now I'm safe from my S.A.S. for another few months...

We checked over and over and even replaced the jack, still nothing. I hate to even suggest this, but is it possible that the Tonepump is bad? Has anyone ever experienced something like that?

did you buy it new?

Looks like you might need to switch your black leads at the jack around too. hard to see but it looks like the black to the batt. should be the mid length pin on the jack. that might booger things up.

Looks like you might need to switch your black leads at the jack around too. hard to see but it looks like the black to the batt. should be the mid length pin on the jack. that might booger things up.

We flipped those around twice... no dice.

Did it!! He was so frustrated that he sent me home.

Make sure you didn't melt through to the center conductor on the main white wires when you soldered the braid to the pot. ( a meter will tell you). Those pots take some heat to solder, and the wires emg sends have a good heat resistant jacket but it can happen

Yes, that was my brilliant input to this whole issue. It's such a weird sound that it makes. A highly distorted but quiet fart sound that doesn't sustain at all. It just cuts off. Very robotic, but a really bad robotic sound. Not a sexy one.

Yeah i had some issues with the leads on the jack not matching up with one of my basses. had to plug in a cable and use a meter to find which tab was what.

A+ I ordered two jacks from the same company and the battery lead was different between the two .
