This^! Just to give you something to think about Jeff...a 810 is easier to move than lugging 2 x 410's. That's the main reason I went with a 810...I was looking at going with 2x410, when someone here said that to me. 810 has big recessed wheels, back skids for stairs and loading, built in dolly handle. Easy to move around!

I told him all about that but this guy is just trying everything for me not to get it....seriously this clown things I want to get louder....its like dude man i'm at level 2 at practice why would I want to go louder???...if that was the case I would have already done it....he tells me to turn down I do it...and after 2 songs he tells me to turn up he can't hear me....guitarists have complexes, seriously!!!

Looks like a Legend 5 with a Haz copy preamp......that should sing nicely! Worst case upgrade to full active EMGs....

edit: Spoke too quickly.....somebody upgraded to active EMGs for you. Should sound great!!

Sounds like a pretty good deal for $340 I guess. I really like the neck compared to my old G&L L1505. I'm going to take off the strings, clean it up and put some new strings on. Are the Haz mat's the same volume & tone knob locations?

My guitarist said one day.... I'm not really feeling the bass (low-end) when you play.... I said "I don't want to muddy up the room, I'm set to cut through so the drummer can hear me"

guitarist: but I don't feel it

Me: ok... (I turned up the bass from 12 to 3 oclock)
after next song...

I think you bass is too loud now.... "bro I didn't touch my volume, You said you wanted to "FEEL" it.... lol, now he lets me do what I know is best... lol

If it's a copy it would be vol/vol/bass/treble, if it's a real Haz it would be vol/blend/bass/treble.

I wonder if this is the one that was on the TB classifieds a year or so back?

$340 would be a great price if it's in good condition....

:hyper::hyper: Picked up my used Spector 5 today. Seems in OK condition for the price. It will need a little TLC but for the price I think it will be a nice bass. I figure if I buy a bass with a few dings it won't matter as much when I put a ding in it.:D

I believe it's a Spector Legend 5 in Black Cherry but maybe you spector guys can tell me a little better what I have. It's made in Korea with a serial #5959. I took a picture of the control cavity and the pick-ups as well. The just say EMG which I thought the legends had EMG-SSD's. So Spector "guys", any help IDing year and model and whether it's stock or not would be appreciated.

Don't know what you paid , but you have real emgs an a hazlabz copy preamp !!!!

SOLD!!!:D But then again...I have lake view from our house now. :smug:And it comes with plumbing. :p Even though with the sale of our house I could by all of BC's Spectors and then some. But where would I keep them? A big a** tent! Haha

You could keep them at my house. ;) I'm remodeling my office to be less office and more music room. They'd have a great place to live. :p You and your wife could visit regularly. I'd even let you swim in the pool. :D

Couldn't you have it wired either way, technically? Like aftermarket pot replacement with 2 volume knobs?

that's good to know..... so this is the breakdown as i understand it

Haz = vol/blend/bass/treble
haz copy = vol/vol/bass/treble
mighty mite copy = vol/blend/bass/treble

This is great info for people that have a preference

Time for another situation. Seriously, I haven't put up with that crap and I never will.

I concurr! Nice buy!!! Welcome to our club!
Like the pic Mike!

Thanks Jeff! Too bad there's a guitard holding back a bassist dream...:scowl: just not right I tell ya! :ninja: Jeff...just buy what you want! The guitard isn't paying for it, right?!?! When you get it then rearrange the trailer to make it fit. A band is a team and they should be supportive and respectful of each others equipment. You don't tell the guitards what they can buy, right?! Last winter I was in a band that I did battle with the lead guitar, he always cranking over me...that's when I bought the PR-410HLF & PF-500! Haha Sad to say he only had a Marshall 412 with a 200W amp. THEN we got a long after that! Haha!:bassist:

Looks like it's volume/blend/bass/treble so either haz or mighty mite copy I guess.

cable,

mighty mite Haz copy and active EMGs are worth atleast $175 right there. :hyper: Im sure she will be growling with some new strings on it. :bassist:

Lol...guitards have egos that they can't cash! Haha
I'm fortunate that my lead usually reaches over to turn my amp louder during practices! I'm conservative really. Just like you and everyone here most likely. Ask your lead if you all ever want to play outside venues then you'll need a bigger rig than what you have now. My band plays outdoor venues, thus the bigger rig 810. Someday I'd like a bigger amp like a SVT VR or something.
